  1. 5/5struggleing with severe ADHD this is the app for you!

if you have troubles, focusing telling stories breaking down your thought process, min is the go to app and site. You can use to be more productive, achieve your goals. Use on the daily download and use reminders make list and it completely worth the subscription. I’ve been struggling with ADHD, since the age of three misdiagnosed still haven’t been medicated, and this is the only way that I have gotten as far as I have, by using this app, I use this app to completely develop my two businesses by breaking down each business and mindmeister has tuturials on how to create and use each map and how to put links and as a software engineering student and digital marketinig student and social media manager helps me create, schedule and keep track and develop ways to organize my thoghts even by writing down a bunch of jerberish and this app will put you thoughts into priority of though instead! Thank guys and i love i use my phone my i pad and even windows and use this to achieve what i wouldnt have been able to with the severe adhd that makes it hard to process my own thoughts and focus on one step at a time. thank you!!!!!

  2. 1/5Nope, never signing up back again.

I'm new to mind mapping and I really enjoy it, especially. It greatly boosts my productivity. However, after purchasing the $9.99 monthly subscription, everything went downhill and I immediately cancelled it. The integration with PowerPoint is extremely poor. It's almost better to create your own PowerPoint manually. Additionally, even though you've already paid, their logo still appears on the form. Let me give you an example. When I pay monthly subscription for $8.00 in Microsoft, I get 30 productivity apps, an email with my domain name, and all sorts of external apps that come with my purchase. On the other hand, Mindmeister wants to charge you monthly for their mind app, additional charges on their notes app, another charges on their yet another app calendar, and separate task reminders. It's quite laughable. I wouldn't mind paying if their app wasn't so full of glitches. I actually lost three hours of work because of their buggy system. And guess what? A pop up window showed up on my computer while I was in awe devastated of losing the map I worked on for 3 hours, the pop up window so generously offered to protect my future mapping for an additional monthly fee! It's a joke . I'm so glad I discovered how scammy this app is and cancelled right away. I may have lost $9, but it's better than wasting my precious time again. I quickly begin exploring various apps and web platforms. There are numerous options available, offering significantly improved features at more affordable prices. Even the free alternatives surpass the quality of this subpar product.

  3. 5/5A Game Changer for a Disorganized Mind

I absolutely adore MindMeister. This isn’t hyperbole—I genuinely don’t know how I ever managed anything without it. As someone who struggles with attention deficit and a general lack of organizational skills, having a tool like this is a godsend. MindMeister helps me organize my thoughts and lay everything out clearly. The range of use cases is astonishing. Currently, I’m using it in two capacities for my website: one mind map for an entire aspect of the site and another for a different part. I plan to integrate them to enhance interactivity, and the potential I see is mind-blowing. I can’t fathom why every website doesn’t use this. Beyond my website, I intend to use MindMeister to manage my business and even map out aspects of my life, including my health issues. So far, it’s been incredibly intuitive and easy to use. I love it. I hope I don’t come back in a few months to write a scathing review, but for now, after just a couple of weeks, I can confidently say this is only the second product I’ve ever felt compelled to review. Enjoy!

  4. 2/5Promising but flawed implementation

Platform: iPad. I really want to like MindMeister. I’ve used it on the PC desktop before with great success. The iOS app looks great, the functions are what I generally want, but the implementation is frequently buggy and intrudes on efficient use. For example, pressing “Enter” to start a new node or tapping outside an active node will frequently bounce you away to an entirely different part of the mindmap, often zooming you out so far that you can’t even see the mindmap anymore and have to exit and reopen the mindmap to see anything. Another issue is when using a dark background template, when creating new nodes the background will swap back to displaying as white until you close that mindmap and reopen it again. A third bug is that when using the “attachment” option to attach a PDF to a node, every time you open and close the mindmap it will add another copy of the PDF to the node (I have one mindmap that was showing four copies of the same PDF, for example). Needless to say, these bugs really interrupt your workflow, making the app tedious to use. Additionally, the iPad version does not do as good of a job as the desktop version in automatically orienting nodes and pathways to be easy to read. They get truly ponderous if you use it for note taking. That said, if they fixed these bugs I’d be a mostly happy camper.

  5. 3/5Love the website but app and website not getting better

I’ve used MindMeister for a few years. Website had some issues but eventually leveled out to where it was usable. Same basic issues though in the old website now in the app - random jumping when adding topics, undo more than twice and it erases everything in the topic or more, can’t line return in one topic (I used shift enter on the web), and now worse of all I can’t export in any format i.e. pdf, image or save as pdf, save to files, save as image - nothing works. I tried from the web same thing - no exports work, also it does not correct the resolution, font or object sizes from app to web, had to do that manually by reshaping width and fonts. But the web export says uh-oh something went wrong with no details about the issue. I suspect it is because I started the mindmap from the app this time and something is corrupt in it and the web can’t correct it either. Tried duplicating just because - no good. I hope they fix and test the next version a little better because I do love it this is just disappointing.
