   Been using app for years now, & it’s only getting better. You can link your bank & any debit card. I can purchase and sell crypto for very low fees. I pay my friends and family. It’s like my personal bank that promotes Crypto. USA is MetalPay home. They been jumping/completing all the regulations that try to stop or slowdown the crypto takeover as our new currency. If you live in the USA and like crypto or are curious about cryptocurrency then this app is definitely one to have/use/love. I highly recommend you check out this app…and this is the first time I ever give a review for any app…and I wrote this because I hope it helps someone/anyone to get a chance to enjoy the benefits of having such a great tool. MetalPay is definitely here to stay…download, use it, you wont be disappointed;)

2. 1/5The app is possibly a scam

   So downloaded this app. Linking my debit and transferring money to my account with metal pay was easy. Turning my money into Bitcoin, easy. Then sending or transferring to my external wallet. Now that was the difficult part. When I sent in inquiries via email for help on the matter multiple times I got one response asking me questions so they could assist me better. I responded, got nothing back. So I responded again checking to see what the holdup was. Responded again asking for help, and again and still outside of their initial questions I have had ZERO communication. So I bumbled my way about the app trying to figure it out on my own. Then I figured it out or so I thought. I managed to send bitcoin to my boyfriend but it said pending. So we waited to see if it would go through. A good 12 hours and the app said still pending. I check this morning and it said completed. So we check and money/Bitcoin was not received at all. We even double checked to make sure the wallet was correct and it was but somewhere the funds went missing. Figured what is the point of making contact when I’ve basically have been ignored with every plea for. Maybe some people have had success with this app but not me. I’ve lost $123 and precious time with zero help from these people. Because of my experience I believe this app is a way to scam money/steal money from people so please people, beware of this app.

3. 1/5THEY DID NOT HONOR REFERRAL PAYOUT

   I tried really hard not to write this, and was hoping that this was legit and they would respond to me after multiple email attempts, but it has been over a week. I participated in their referral reward program which they boasts sets them apart from other apps such as Cash App, that offers instant pay. I earned over $500 in Rewards my 1st day sharing the app. When I logged in the next day to use it to purchase some bitcoin and make a withdraw I saw that my account was Suspended and I received an email that my account had been frozen and I needed to submit Address Verification. Cool. I submitted my Verification and they said they would reply in 3 business days. It has already Been 6 business days and they are no longer responding to my emails. I also noticed that I have other friends who’s ID’s didn’t match their addresses the individuals that shared the program and earned over $300 had their accounts frozen while the ones that earned Little to no referral rewards account is still going strong. Leading me to believe they don’t want to pay up. I was excited about using and sharing this app as they offered Cryptocurrency options and I love crypto. All I want now is the referral rewards that I earned for sharing your app and I will remove this review. That is poor service. I understand this is a new app but some sort of communication is better than nothing when one of your users has $500 frozen in your app. After asking for all sensitive information then freezing an account and not responding for days is not a good look.

4. 1/5Cannot use Metal Pay cash

   A new issue. I sold some ETH in the Metal Pay app, cashing it out for Metal Cash. I am able to withdraw these funds by transferring them to my bank if I choose, but when I try to purchase any crypto product, my balance displays as $0. I cannot see any place within the app that shows my balance as not being settled, and I would think I could not withdraw the funds to my bank if they were not settled. What is the point of Metal Pay cash if it is treated differently depending on the transaction type you are attempting to complete? If there is a difference in the way these funds are treated by Metal Pay based on the way the user is attempting to utilize them, the documentation of such handling is poor enough that I have not been able to locate it. Update: I contacted Metal Pay support and received a response that my funds cannot be used due to a delay with MTL sell orders. This issue does not relate to a MTL sale and I am able to transfer the funds out to my bank if I want to, so this issue does not appear to be relevant to me. I am disappointed that Support would try to assign blame on an issue that does not, on its face, have anything to do with my issue. If somehow it does relate to my issue, the Sell Order outage notice does not indicate such, nor did the feedback from Support. Extremely troubling for a company that wants me to trust them with my money and crypto.

5. 2/5The support Here Is Not All That They Claim!

   Hi All.. I am having a certain amount of troubles with this MetalPay app, and their alleged customer service, which is not like it should be! When I first tried this app, even though there was a lot of confirms, and the place where you can see your spenns, and that they got over to their destinations, my party never did get that money, but today, after having a red 1 icon on top of the app icon for several weeks, I decided to do something about it or try to! So I emailed them and they made some amount of looking into it, and then they emailed me back and said it must be an apple problem, because nothing is wrong with our app, so I called Apple twice, and I eventually talked to a senior advisor, who is also a supervisor, and we went over several other possibilities to get rid of it, and I initially thought I had gotten rid of it after I uninstalled their app, and then came back and reinstalled it, and initially it was seen that there was a flash of that icon again, but when I put it back into a folder, that icon came back again and then it stayed and when I sent a notice over to them in another email about it, they came back with the old worthless, this has been updated, garbage! So they don’t want to look into it again and realize that their app has a bug in it! I have a apple, iOS 14 pro max iPhone, and I have the latest updates, 17.0.2, so it’s not a matter of my phone, but it is a matter that’s all on the side of MetalPay, and the fact that they don’t want to address this issue because they either are unwilling to address it or they don’t know about it, take your pick! If anyone else is having these type of issues, let’s put them on here, and maybe we can force them to start taking a serious look at their app, and with them finding out that they do have a bug!
