1. 5/5Why pay and then pay some more?

   Okay, so I used to love MeetMobile. I still like it, but lately some of the features have been frustrating me. For instance, paying for the heat sheet. I understand you guys are trying to make more money, but seriously. Why do we have to pay for a subscription to get all of the features (which include basic things like showing meet results) AND THEN HAVE TO PAY SOME MORE FOR SOMETHING THAT USED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE FREE VERSION. All of the meet managers publish the heat sheet online for free. Why can’t you guys do that? Almost no one is going to pay $2.99 a session. Also, it gets super annoying having to switch from app to app. I’m a competitive swimmer, so my friends and I use this app quite a lot. A bunch of my friends relied on the heat sheet included in the app and now have to look somewhere else to find it. Also, the fact that there is no family bundle plan also annoys me. I know a lot of families use this app and have to pay for a subscription for every device if they want all the features. I know a bunch of families would definitely pay for a family bundle. Instead, a family will have to pay a bunch of money just for everyone to see their own results. At least if you don’t make a bundle make some of the features (like the heat sheet) free. It’s not that hard, and I doubt you’d be losing money if you made the heat sheet free. In fact, I doubt you are making money with this new policy. I understand you guys are trying to make money, but a lot of people are really upset about this new update. Please at least make the heat sheet free and maybe make a family plan as well. 2. 5/5Swimmers dream

   I’m a super competitive swimmer, and Meet Mobile has come useful many times. Usually after an event, I ponder my actual time. The touch pad usually gets inaccurate results, so meet mobile always helps me confirm my time. It also includes my profile, where I can change my name, see the meets I’m competing in, and the official teams I’m in. MeetMobile has another helpful addition, a favorite page. There you may star a swimmer. After they compete in a meet, you can see their results and points. The favorite tool is my all time favorite addition on meet mobile, I get to compare myself to my friends and team members. Although there are a few glitches, like a wrong time or an incorrect heat and lane, Meet mobile is fairly cheap and is really helpful for everybody!

   Update Oct 27th- Thank you for adding back in the features you removed. Especially being able to see the whole race results from one swimmers results. Now...can we do something about the hard to read text? Bolder maybe. Yellow on white is never easy on the eyes. The app was once...ok. After the update, It’s functionality has diminished to a point of being unhelpful. In the older version, I could see my swimmers event result, then click on the event name and see the psych sheet or list of final results. This feature is no longer there. If that could be added back in, I would be grateful. May I also suggest adding in additional features . Making each swimmers name a touchable hyperlink of sorts from any screen, that would take us to that swimmers event list would be stellar. I don’t favorite all of my swimmers team, because I don’t care for the hundreds of notifications. But being able to pick a teammate out from an events finals list, touch their name, and see their results and upcoming events would be very helpful. And if you want to get super crazy helpful, the ability to request accounts to be merged. My swimmer has at least 7! My favorite list is llloooonnngggg but it’s only for three swimmers.

4. 1/5Wish there was a competing app

   To put it simply, this is the most infuriating app on my phone, and the only reason I use it is because there is no alternative, and it is often the only real-time option, including the internet (sidearm stats, etc). Searching for meets is the first issue - sometimes you can get lucky and type one word associated with the meet title and it’ll pop up as an option - most times, however, that does not work and even finding the meet title via a swimmer search and then typing it EXACTLY as written does not result in a successful search. The main issue is how INFURIATINGLY SLOW this app is. It’s not an issue of the meet director taking his/her time to update the meet. It begins with clicking on the meet *wait :30-1:00*, then you need to click “Events” *wait another :30-1:00*, followed by clicking into the session *you guessed it - wait another :30-1:00*, followed by the event itself *diddo* and diddo for all of that if you want to go back. Think that’s agitating? A third of the time, the app crashes and you have to re-start the process all over again. Like I said, since USA Swimming refuses to create a competing app, MeetMobile has no incentive to fix these glaring issues, so I’m really just writing this in hopes that it gets seen along with other reviews, and the issues are fixed.

5. 4/5Swim Meets Made Simple

   I really love this app and the ability to track swimmers from multiple schools. The interface is easy to use and updates quickly. I am able to track my swimmer and where we are in the event versus trying to follow the event sheet. The time decreased or added is helpful. Suggestion: I would love to see a way to track a swimmers growth over multiple seasons. For example, if the swimmer has been doing 100m breast stroke over the course of several events and they are logged in meet mobile, dates and times grouped together by the stroke. Extra bonus would be a visual graph that allows the swimmer to see just how far they’ve come and growth achieved. An example would be similar to the graphs Strava uses for runners etc. Fastest, longest distance etc. Currently you have to click back and forth between many events or track it manually which is a lot of work, when meet mobile has the potential to simplify this for parents, athletes and coaches. Thank you for providing a great app overall!
