5/5Easy and effective
I bounced around for a number of years struggling to find a therapist I could connect with interpersonally, while my mental health symptoms grew. Long wait times for anyone that had any availability at all only to be disappointed in the treatment. Finally found good care by paying out of pocket but had to end early because I couldn’t afford the $300 cost every week. With Lyra I was able to book an appointment from the app, with a recommended provider within 24 hours….literally the next morning I was in treatment, learning skills that I could use immediately. The exercises in between sessions were my favorite part, so I could continue practicing what I learned. Lyra did all of the work to make it easy for me to get help that worked for me. Mental health treatment is extremely personal but I felt like my provider really understood me and gave me the right tools to get better. Today, I’m showing up better for my family, friends and work. Can’t thank my employer enough for offering this program and highly recommend to anyone that has the opportunity to try it for themselves.

1/5These people steal from you.
Whatever you do, do not upload your credit card. I was told that I would not be charged for a certain psychiatrist visit and that’s because my insurance covers in full all Psychiatry. My insurance covered in full paid them the full of the psychiatrist visit, but Lyra deducted the money out of my account without warning if I had any idea that they would steal from me, I would’ve never agreed to have the appointment. I called my insurance and they told me it was illegal for them to take from me because my insurance paid in full and now I have to get a lawyer. I have called them so many times and nobody from billing has ever responded to me over the phone I have gotten excuse after excuse, but what it really comes down to is that they just stole out of my pocket. I just recently came out of a domestic violence situation and left in a financial crisis and that is why I called and confirm to make sure that they wouldn’t charge me. They still took money from me, even though I was told that they wouldn’t. So now they have the money that my insurance gave them and my money I have had so many sleepless nights about this. I can’t even tell you how many tears I’ve cried and worried about the lack of funds now that Lyra has stolen from me. I am sick to my stomach and at least I have an an amazing therapist to make me feel better during the stress and agony that this company has put me through.

5/5Didn’t Like It At First…
Honestly the first appointment I did sent me into a spiral of dysregulation and almost wiped out the little progress I made in forming boundaries with my family. The therapist didn’t explain Lyra’s method and goals in a way that helped me understand and pushed for reconciliation based off of the things I had said in my pre-appointment forms. I didn’t realize until I switched to my second therapist who spent a great deal of our first session explaining the short term yet intensive way that Lyra aims to help, which explained why the previous therapist was doing her best to push in a good direction all in one session except the issue was far to big to neatly tie with a bow like that. I have stuck with my second therapist for three sessions now and she is a wonderful person who can guide you through things well. Even if you don’t have the words if you just tell her that she will find something to talk about to draw out more of what you need over time.

5/5I got this
When I came to therapy, I was broken in so many tiny pieces… My therapist and I connected the first time I met her… She was just what I was looking for sensitive and kind but strong and insertive She listened… I felt like she heard me… I brought many different problems to the table, grief, guilt, heartache, loss, fear, pain, family trauma, loneliness, shame,Self doubt just to mention a few… I listen to a lot of videos some hit Home more than others, but they all were apart of the healing process… I have learned how to think differently about others and self… I have learned that emotions are a part of life, but they are in my control… I’ve learned to set boundaries to settle my inner peace… it’s OK to take care of me first… And that with every dark night, there is morning light waiting with the hope of a new and better day ahead… I would recommend Therapy to all that needed… as I am leaving the program, I feel I got this…

3/5Like the help, don’t like the app
Love that I’m getting help where and when I need it, however I’ve been experiencing bugs that make it difficult to use the app. For starters the app isn’t compatible on iPad, it tries calibrating itself as if I’m still on a small screen and doesn’t support calls. On my phone, if I have to exit the app (usually to look at my schedule for work to confirm making an appointment) it logs me out, then logs me back in as if I’ve never used the app before. I have to then sign out again, and then renter my information again, annnd theeeen it remembers I’ve been a member for two years and recovers my progress and appointment history. I actually lost my call during my appointment today just trying to adjust the screen so I could see who I was speaking to. This happened during the appointment, I know it’s two minutes but I’m a yapper and I need all the minutes I can spare. Recap: My main goal is getting the problem fixed so I can use this on my iPad and not worry about dropping calls. Thank you
