  1. 5/5User Friendly and Accessible

Great manual camera app with a simple enough UI for casual photographers to use without being overwhelmed by the amount of options. Easy to understand and use, takes great quality photos and has easy and convenient options to download and transfer photo files. Going in with a singular Google search of certain settings did, I was able to quickly figure out the interface and take photos exactly how I needed. No overbloated or annoying UI like other apps I’ve tried.

  2. 5/5Best free photo taking app

As someone who is getting into photography, but lacks money I found this app in hope to try photography without spending over $500 for a hobby I may lose, I decided to use my phone (as it’s a 15 Pro Max that was gifted to me) I decided to look for a manual camera. I first found black magic camera but then realized it was only for videos (it’s still really good) and decided to keep digging, I then found this, free, easy to use app. 10/10 would recommend.

  3. 5/5Manual control and 48mp!

I’ve tried so many camera apps looking for the perfect blend of manual controls and high-quality photos, and Lumina absolutely nailed it! The interface is super intuitive and easy to use, making it a breeze to adjust settings like shutter speed, ISO, and focus on the fly. The best part? You still get stunning 48MP photos even with full manual control! I can’t believe an app this good is completely free – it’s an absolute game-changer for anyone who loves mobile photography. Thank you!

  4. 5/5Amazing free app!

This app is truly amazing! Completely free and without any in app purchases or ads, it is the perfect companion for anyone seeking to elevate their iPhone photography game. The only feature that keeps me from using it 100% of the time is the lack of LUT capabilities. If there were options to import LUTs and burn them into images, I have no doubt I would use Lumina exclusively. Until then, however, I’ll be using Fotorgear. Mr. Salvatore, no hard feelings, and cheers to this amazing accomplishment!

  5. 5/5Almost perfect

After Halide completely failed to live up to the hype, this is exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted manual focus and the ability to disable post-processing, and this app comes through with both of those perfectly. And for free?! If it had a widget so I could launch it from the camera button on my lock screen, it very well might replace the stock camera app for me. Extremely minor flaws I don’t know how else to report: • It would be nice if the UI text rotated when holding the phone in landscape mode to indicate that rotation lock isn’t on and the photos will be saved with the correct orientation. • The help text in the SAVING settings has a typo (“compatible” is misspelled as “compatibile”) • The info sheet for images you have already taken has “focal length” misspelled as “lenght”
