  1. 4/5Customer service booth

With a great show about to start and my friend on crutches ( which I made known to the sales person when I bought my tickets at the theater. I was assured that if my friend was unable to fit in the seat they had me purchase the would help me out at Customer Service booth. This was explained to the young lady at the 101 ramp refused us access to ramp which was the only way to reach our seats in the 201 section. I had to leave my friend on a bench while I made my way to the other side of plaza so that I could let them know that we would be needing to relocate to the ADA seats. As I stood behind three other people on crutches and wheelchair I had a feeling that if there weren’t enough ADA seats then we would be out of luck. Well I realize that I have tickets in my hand that I paid good money for that same morning right here. The rest of the people before me are being sold tickets regular as well as FOUR ADA seats. Now I’m as compassionate as the next person, I am also a fair person and I don’t believe that tending to the needs of customers who have not yet bought tickets is fair practice. In my opinion you NEED to offer a separate line for tickets holders of that days events. I didn’t want to have to stand in another line after already having done so that morning. However unforeseen issues will arise. Such as in my case and this is when I would have loved to have been attended to in a timely fashion. I Missed Elle King and part of Joan Jett. Finally I must praise a fine young man who was incredibly professional, helpful and thoughtful.! I just wanted ever to know if they all work the way Michael does then your company should have continued success! Buy the way I ended up dropping my 7$ French fries that were now cold .

  2. 3/5Hit or.... miss (+ORIGINAL REVIEW UPDATE!)

UPDATE! UPDATE!: My original review follows this update please continue if you’re interested. The problem with opening the app can be remedied by turning WiFi OFF! App has ALWAYS OPENED WITHOUT ISSUES WHEN WiFi IS OFF!!(so far at least). ORIGINAL REVIEW::This app, for whatever reason, is completely unreliable!!! I hate to leave such a bad review, but due to the extremely poor performance, I feel it’s necessary for the sake of others and to save the frustration or possible loss of others as well. I have deleted and reinstalled this app twice to try and remedy the performance issues and ultimately with no success here’s the problem...Bottom line, The app doesn’t always open. Well, at least not most of the time. When I try to open it the title just “breathes” and it never opens, or sometimes it does, but only after swiping it out of “recents” and trying over (in excess of 15 tries). This is really not cool! I have also witnessed (when and if it does finally open) issues with purchasing from the specific device in use. This part is confusing, but to solve that problem I noticed you need to make sure that you are NOT “logged in” to your account on the browser or anywhere else before attempting to use the app to complete your purchase. Once you’re positively “logged out” of your account from anywhere else on the device, you should be able to complete your transactions through the app after logging into your account on the app ONLY (BUT ONLY IF THE APP ACTUALLY OPENS). I liked the idea of having the app, and haven’t deleted it yet, but it’s certainly unreliable and should definitely be updated/fixed/debugged!! Please fix your app!! It’s a win/win type of situation if it gets fixed!

  3. 1/5Exasperating

Terrible service, a needlessly confusing interface, and an arcane purchasing system that finds a new way to confound me every time. Terrible customer experiences: that’s what virtual monopolies are for! (And Ticketmaster/LiveNation have locked down a monopoly on major live event ticket sales... not that anyone is ever going to do anything to fix it.) And, hey, developers — one of the main reasons I have an app loaded on my passcode-locked phone is so I don’t constantly have to log in again every time I make a purchase. This is the only app I use where this happens. And every time I forget, BECAUSE NO OTHER APP DOES THIS. So I end up having to try to log in when the system is jammed with other purchasers, so my attempts to type in my email and password are glitched out, with each letter taking painful seconds to appear as I wonder if I am going to lose my tickets / place in line. Yes, your checklist for purchases tells people to make sure they are logged in —but if the app doesn’t offer a simple, intuitive way to do this before it’s jammed up during the On Sale period. How is it possible that this thing has a 4+ star overall rating? When 3 out of the top 4 reviews are 1-star? What shenanigans are afoot here? I beseech you.

  4. 1/5Customer Support and Blocked Card.

Tried to use this app to purchase 2 tickets for a band I really wanted to see and kept receiving error messages that said it thought I was a boy and when I finally get past that and try to use my card I get error messages that’s it’s blocked. I called customer support about this and they said that they would open a case to resolve this issue but that was last week and my card is still blocked and I did not get an update. I tried to check and see what tickets are left and the ones I tried to get are gone and only the resale was left which is double the price of the original tickets and will be even higher after ridiculous fees are added on. My card is still blocked so if customer support ever gets back to me (I ended up opening an email case also) the resale tickets will probably be gone too. Hope if this band ever tours again they pick a different venue that doesn’t use live nation to sell tickets. I never write reviews but this situation frustrated me enough that I felt I had to. Between the customer service and the app itself. If you can get the tickets another way, do that instead.

  5. 1/5Garbage app

Red pip! What could it be? A concert for a band I favorited? Nope. Never. Not once. What’s this pip? An offer in my inbox, dated today. An offer on the website not the app (making the app pointless)… An offer on the website THAT EXPIRED THREE WEEKS AGO. You’re notifying me today, via a needless trip to your website, of an offer that expired 24 days ago. Why couldn’t you say offer expired in the inbox message or, better yet, NOT SEND ME EXPIRED OFFERS? Only keep this around to store tickets for shows not available on real apps, otherwise it’s offloaded. UPDATE: Wait I have a ticket! Instructions: Login in to Ticketmaster App? What do I need this app for if it sends me to another app? Okay… transfer to Wallet… boom! Here’s an e-mail saying Important Instructions: you should transfer to Wallet! How about Important Instructions: your VIP service experience? How about Important Instructions: current pandemic regulations? How about Important Instructions venue policies? UPDATE: stop sending the wrong instructions for the show! When’s the early access for VIP Meet & Greet? Ask the venue? They said to ask you, the promoters, the ones organizing the Event! Show up an hour before curtain? Doors open to the public an HOUR AN A HALF BEFORE CURTAIN! Why are you pretending not to be TicketMaster when your help chat is branded with the TicketMaster icon and e-mail replies come from TicketMaster? Oh, wait show’s canceled… plan on telling anyone? Ever? Perhaps BEFORE THE SHOW’s SCHEDULED TIME? Let me guess, I’ll get a red pip in 2 weeks. 🚨 ALERT! There’s a presale… that started 6 hours ago. It would be already sold-out if it wasn’t for a band you’ve NEVER heard of and wouldn’t enjoy anyway because it’s like nothing on your Favorite list which you still can’t get notifications for.
