1. 3/5App update = harder to find shows.

   I really miss the daily schedule of shows; now to find my daily listens I need to scroll down what feels like a presentation worthy of the wooden square blocks for learning children. If it has the option to sort by preferences or at least sort alphabetically-please let me know! Perhaps the ~option~ to view with smaller “icons” and ~option~ to view like a list would be nice for those who liked the small list the daily schedule (that didn’t require scrolling)? I do still appreciate the LAist app a lot…I regularly listen to a bunch of shows on my schedule; it is a beautiful thing! UPDATE (just minutes later) found the “schedule” under the drop-down menu!!! YAY!

2. 4/5Miss pause, rewind, and fast forward option

   The old app used to have this option. It was really helpful if I missed something (happens frequently with my hearing). I miss this option. Without it, it would be helpful if the short reports between program breaks were available for replay. It is also more difficult to find programs. I do miss the old KPCC app.

3. 2/5Was a 5, is a 3, rated 2 for breaking good thing

   It’s no surprise that LAist waited until just after a big fundraiser to turn the best public radio app I’d seen into crippleware. I wonder how many donors feel suckered. On top of that: I don’t know if Science Friday has cut down to two days a week of programming, but you’ve cut down to only offering the Thursday and Friday episodes. If this was your decision, put it back! If this was *not* your decision, perhaps you should put up some sort of disclaimer so that you don’t earn the scorn of SciFri fans like me!

   I enjoy listening to air talk especially during the time of COVID-19 they provided expert information sometimes a bit of humor but always in the interest of best listeners the variety of topics well done and informative The program Where interviews are done with basically to host are insightful and provide people with insights Into the interviewers lives professional experiences and their personal beliefs I would like to see interviews done by spiritual individuals discussing their faith from different Relgis backgrounds whether they be Buddhist, eastern Christian, Muslim, indigenous to see how they use their face to interact with the world of today

5. 5/5The best news in Los Angeles!

   I really appreciate this app. I used to listen to the radio show, but I actually prefer the app because I can listen to any show at any time, as opposed to missing great shows while I am at work. Also, this way, I do not need to listen to shows that I don't prefer. I support LAist with a small donation every month because I really appreciate them. Honestly, I feel like I know them. Even though I know I don't. 😆 I'm sure that MAGAS Will not think so, but these reporters truly are unbiased. They look out for"Regular people." And I love the local reporting as well as the national reporting that I hear from them. It is a horrible shame that the NPR 1 app was discontinued, because I really do not care for the npr app. The LAist app is a really good replacement for the NPR-1 app.
