   I have lived on Prince of wales since 1971 and being an Alaskan resident watching Alaska weather and being able to see what's coming allows myself and my family to get prepared for what's coming weather wise. This is important due to fact our water supply is raincatch and our home is still in process of being fully insulated so we can make sure we have fuel for stoves, firewood for wood stoves and gas for our emergency generators. We appreciate you.

2. 1/5App No Longer Useful

   I will be deleting my KTUU weather app today. I’m a local tour guide and I’ve used this app and recommended it to all of my guests. It use to give me the current Doppler and clear information on earthquakes. I live in Alaska and both of these are the most important things an app could show me when it comes to weather no typhoons, no hurricanes no tornadoes no no no. We do have a lot of earthquakes though and the update you you just made renders the earthquake information is useless. It used to be a conversation piece and was well received with guest visiting my local town it is turned into some big commercial now and all I see on there is constant ads wanted me to purchase something rather than the useful tool it was in the past. To the programmers — I actually had members of your team on my tour before and discussed how wonderful and useful this app was I can’t believe you let me down.

   The weather map keeps changing after you stop it on both my ipad and iphone and this is causing battery to run down faster.

4. 1/5don't use anymore

   this app used to be something I looked at so many times every day, especially for the earthquakes But since they changed the format The earthquakes don't work When they show up, they won't tell you where they are I don't know why I have to push buttons to make separate apps My weather progress video that you push play to watch how everything plays out on the map in the future Is stuck at the end and now I just get what's already happened That's been broken for a couple of weeks So basically an app that was my top favorite is completely useless I called them. I told them. Nothing has changed. It's sad because weather and earthquakes were a part of my every day and there is nothing that matches what this app was I don't care for the new News app or this app a shame because what they had worked just fine

5. 1/5Latest update has usability degradation

   The map with the current temp was the most useful part of the old app. Now a splash page with auto streaming (data down the drain) content to get the current temp and a separate option to get the map without it. Some advice - Don’t force streaming. Put the current temp on the map that shows the weather, and put it back on top as the first thing viewable. Too many levels to get to what we want to see, and added sluggishness to boot is not a good direction.
