5/5The best local weather app for Grand Rapids
FOX17 is the only network to still air its latest broadcast of the weather with a bona fide meteorologist. WZZM 13 never did it. And WOOD TV8 only has live stream, which doesn’t help if it’s not 6:00 or 11:00. Our beautiful Lake Michigan always makes predicting the weather here in West Michigan a challenge and I don’t trust national forecasts for here- it’s too tricky!! Only the locals know .

I use this weather app a lot. It is very accurate and I can make golf dates and other schedules with a high degree of confidence.

I love this app but every time I click on it lately and add pops up and then the little X for the ad is up at the very top of my screen and I cannot close the ad so I can’t even use the app! Wish you can fix this so I can use this app again! Don’t mind the ads just would like them smaller so you can close them out at the end!!

I have used the Fox 17 weather app for as long as I can remember and really love it. All of the sudden there are ads constantly that you can’t click out of. This makes your app useless to me. I understand the ads but at least have them so they can be closed.

1/5What changed? The ads are horrendous.
This has always been my one and only app used for reliable weather in real time and now I am in search of another local weather app. Since when do you have to watch a never ending ad that I have to force close and restart to get a 2 second glance at the radar only for another ad to pop? Ridiculous.
