1. 4/5Only giving 4 stars because the Doughnuts are amazing

   I really hope they stop getting rid of the points that I earn and build up with my money. It’s horrible. They need to take notes from the Starbucks app and the chic fil a app. Chic fil a doesn’t just erase my points after a month if that and neither does Starbucks. Also I hate having to even mention this, but they need to get better customer service and getting that isn’t keeping literally one location open in Baton Rouge and that one location so happens to be off Plank Road in Baton Rouge. Yikes! When I go there I don’t want to show my phone to pay and get an eye roll or when there’s reward offers the manager tells me this location doesn’t participate. Doesn’t seem like a good way to generate sales. The Doughnuts are already $15 a dozen. Please consider a location somewhere else in Baton Rouge maybe near millerville and consider another location in southern Mississippi.

2. 1/5App Doesn’t Work When Registering For Rewards Program

   Installed the app and tried signing up for the Rewards Program. Enter my info and get a message that I already created an account (I did?). Select the Forgot Password link and get an e-mail with a 4-digit pin. Type the pin in, and get an error that the pin # can’t be found. Request new pin, get new pin, type it in: same error. Went through it 3 times without success. There is no customer service link or contact to follow up with, so I think I’m done trying. UPDATE: Tried to give this app a second chance. Again, I was told that I already had an account (I do not). Tried a bunch of my commonly-used passwords and none of them worked. So, I tried the password recovery option and was given a screen to input a 4-digit PIN that was being sent to my e-mail. I exit the app, check my e-mail, get the pin, and go back into the app to type it in (takes maybe 5 seconds max)... and the app has reset to its home screen! I can’t get back to the PIN input screen, so I try again and... in order to get to the PIN input screen, I have to request a new PIN (the “old” one sent 30 seconds earlier no longer works). Yet I can’t exit the app to check my e-mail because it will loop back to the home screen every time I do so. Sensing another endless loop of futility was beginning, I quit trying. How am I supposed to input the PIN when the app goes back to the home screen EVERY time you exit it?!?

3. 1/5An awful app experience

   I don’t usually write app reviews but this app genuinely infuriates me. Trying to sign in fails constantly. I have no idea why. I used Sign In with Apple but it insisted that it couldn’t work. So I try create an account normally. But of course Apple doesn’t remember the keychain generated password it recommended so tha didn’t help. (Less the apps fault but still annoying) After a while it some how works I literally did nothing different. I go in and try to place an order because there’s a deal going on. I select my store but as a try to order it insists that the one store that is close to me has no donuts. It instead show coffee under the donuts tab and Merchandise under the coffee tab. I tried reopening the app thinking it was another bad glitch. But nothing worked and eventually the sign in issue came back. I just wanted donuts on sale man. I check the website to try and order but apparently it’s the same issue No donuts. Weird right? A hot and ready sign yet no donuts. No donuts at a donut shop. I’m losing my mind at this point and I decide to check at another store. Would you look at that! They have donuts! And everything you could ask for. So why doesn’t it work for my store? Who knows because there is now way to ask for help in the app. Also the other store is way too far away. Just my luck.

4. 3/5CANT USE MULTIPLE GIFTCARDS & OTHER ISSUES

   I have over $40 worth between three different gift cards. First, there is nowhere to save the gift cards in the payment section of the app. Secondly, I’m only restricted to using one gift card at a time for online orders?! This is frustrating because sometimes we have to preorder our build-your-own custom dozen to ensure we get everything we want in our custom boxes (some of the specialty donuts sell out quickly, before we can pickup). I shouldn’t have to be forced to pay out of my own pocket when I have well over the amount in gift cards to cover the whole order. Also when creating the custom build-your-own boxes, if we need to switch one or more of the donuts, we have to click on “Start Over” and input all of our options again instead of just switch out one donut at a time. Lastly, the app crashes a lot! It doesn't save anything in my cart if it crashes or tomes out. And what’s the point of adding a “Favorite” shop if I have to search and select it everytime I want to make an order or continue an existing order? When the app crashes or times out, we have to start the whole order all over from scratch!!

5. 1/55 years later and still broken

   I installed the app today to make a order for pickup tomorrow. I selected “donuts “ and customized box, only a few very limited flavors were available. Strange for a order for 28 hours away I couldn’t even find 4 flavors to add to my dozen. So I closed the app and tried again a few hours later and now I select donuts and nothing comes up- the store is currently open but has no donuts to order? I went to the website and it is just as bad, it showed donuts but no way to order anything. After reading about all the people that had their payment stolen from the app maybe I dodged a bullet. But really a National chain has had a failing app for 5 years!!! Where is the IT department, the tech support. I have ordered from tiny little restaurants with one location and their app is easy and takes my order (and payment) why can’t a huge national chain get it right. Don’t you want customers?? Copy McDonald’s app, it always works and gives reward points. There are many donut and coffee shops in the area, stop taking your customers for granted. (Since the app is 5 years old and has not worked since it’s inception I will assume no one at the company cares at all about customers or loosing a few customers -sad) 😢

   Let's be honest. This is not bad at ALL. I live near a Krispy Kreme, and me and my friends check this app all the time just to see if the hot light's on. also their donuts are tuff. 5 stars

   I was prompted to re-enter my saved login information and received an error message. I tried to change my password but received another error message "an account with this email address doesn't exist." I tried to create a new account, but was told "an account with this email address already exists." So which is it? I still receive rewards emails but cannot access my rewards account. Reporting errors in the app is a joke because it asks which store you are ordering from, but I can't order.

   LOUSY! I have repeatedly tried to upgrade the app but it won't upgrade...it keeps searching and keeps saying that it is pending. In the meantime, I cannot use my points to make purchase verification so I won't be buying from Krispy Kreme until it is fixed or resolved!
