Im visiting Laos and desperately needed an app to get around. The app will not let me create an account because it will never send me a confirmation code. I have tried over and over and even deleted and redownloaded the app. There is no email option for confirmation so the app is basically useless because I can’t get in.

Unbelievably terrible app for getting around in a foreign country. Positioning communication non existence.

Get a Lao SIM card, recommend one from Lao Telecom booth from the airport. Download app and use KOKKOK it’s one of the best way to move around in Vientiane. It’s also probably the cheapest way. You’ll know the price you’ll pay for each ride beforehand. The fare is set by the app. We used it everyday while in Vientiane and highly recommend it vs taxi or tuktuk. No more being scammed and haggling with drivers and having them being mad when you refused to accept their fare/ride. Cons: I noticed drivers tends to ignore rides fare that are less than 20,000kip.
