1. 1/5Frustrating and Filled with Scammers

   I have been trying to use the Kendra G app for at least 2 to 3 months, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Despite setting my preferences to only connect with people within a 50-mile radius, I continuously get matches from outside my area—and not just a little outside, but completely irrelevant locations. Even when specifying that I want to speak with people within the United States, I still get bombarded with the same repetitive and suspicious responses. Almost every match claims to be on an oil rig, in the military, or working overseas, and they all immediately ask to move the conversation to WhatsApp. This pattern is a huge red flag for scams, making it nearly impossible to meet someone genuine. I even reached out to customer service to report the issue, suspecting that the app has been overrun by scammers or bots. Unfortunately, I received no resolution. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times, hoping for a better experience, but nothing changed. Now, I’ve reached the point where I am ready to permanently delete it. It’s incredibly disappointing because the idea behind the app is great—it would be nice to meet someone local and actually have a real conversation. However, with the overwhelming number of scammers, this app has become a waste of time. Unless they implement stricter verification processes and take action against fraudulent accounts, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine connection.

   Congratulations to Kenda on developing this app — I’m proud of you! (The only reason I put 2 stars) However, I have some serious concerns about the user experience and the integrity of the platform. Unfortunately, the app seems to be riddled with red flags. Many users appear to be dishonest about who they are, their relationship status, career, education, and whether they have kids. Additionally, a significant number of users are not even based in America, which seems unnecessary and confusing for those of us seeking local connections. I strongly believe there should be a more robust verification process to authenticate both men and women on the platform. Transparency about relationship status, especially for married individuals, should be mandatory and clearly stated — not hidden. While I understand that legally verifying this might be challenging, honesty is crucial for building trust. Furthermore, there needs to be a system in place to detect and prevent multiple accounts using the same photos. This kind of fraud undermines the integrity of the app and the experience of genuine users. Overall, I appreciate the effort put into the app, but these issues need to be addressed to create a safer, more honest environment for users.

3. 1/5All the men are scammers

   I know it’s not all the men on the app, but it is 80 percent of them. That I have encountered, when I match it someone either I have to block them or the admin for the site is blocking them. They are all in the military and they all will be back soon, they have child/children that leave with a grandparent. Kendra said they blocked Africa but they have not blocked the person in America that is setting up all these fake pages for them. It has to be someone in the states that are setting up these sites. If not how are they creating accounts that show they are here and they are in another country. A total waste of time and money. I been on this app since it was made an only spoke to to people that was real, one had to be a serial killer wanted me to come to his house and we never even spoke on the phone or met in person and the other was a lonely man who just wanted someone to talk to. SMH I have better luck on Facebook dating.

4. 5/5No longer a supporter of hers

   I used to be a long time fan/kousin but I gotta agree with another user on here when she said that this is another way of Kendra getting attention and money but I’m not even gonna go there right now cause I know I’m not the only way it’s happened to. All I’m gonna say is that there’s a way to run a business and a way u don’t run it. I don’t care if I’ve been blocked or whatever cause the show hasn’t been as good as of late just like the app which I refuse to shell out anymore money on anything kendra related. I’ve tried to be the bigger person and apologize but apparently that wasn’t enough. Again I used to be a supporter but most of the content creators that i know don’t have an attitude like she does as of late and don’t think the fans won’t clap back on it. Even under pressure, u gotta learn how to be humble and chill. I’m no longer on the app due to guys either not talkin or they just wanna hookup

5. 2/5It’s just ok

   I joined few days ago, paid for one week. My preferences are people within 100 miles but funny enough all I get are those of out the country. There aren’t people in my area. It’s very interesting within two days the screen says you’re all caught up and new member are joining by the minute. There hasn’t been a change since! I paid for the week and there is no one to match. I constantly get people from Africa messaging me not within my age or mile range. Additionally, if I were to make a suggestion, give people the option to say yes or no to a prospective match at the top of the page, we can almost tell immediately if someone is a prospect or not. We don’t want to always have to go through the profile to select no. Is a bit tedious especially with ALL the Africans that try to match with you.
