1. 1/5Waste of hope and time

   This app starts out very optimistic and goes downhill really really quick. I downloaded the app considering what they are advertising to be true. Made the account, posted photos, connected other accounts for verification and waited for a long time. I waited to avoid paying the 100/week premium to “skip the line”, whatever that means now. Here is what I noticed. About 6 months later my account was verified and I was now in the league. Yay right? No. At the beginning of making the account the suggested girls shown had the best profiles and photos. People I would actually be interested in meeting. The sad part was that they would not see my account until I would get into the league. So I waited. So 6 months later after I did get into the league, there were still no matches to be around. It now that I’m in officially the girls I get suggested are nowhere close to what I’m looking for. It’s as if you don’t get what you want unless you pay. I’m not the most attractive guy and just hoping that paying 100/week would just do the trick is totally crap. It’s very likely that the girl’s profile that I like is not verified or she has not paid. Sit here is no way of telling whether or not everyone I see are actually in the league and a match is even possible without paying. I understand people are trying to make a living off someone’s pursuit to have a family, but at least make it possible and clear. The concierge you can contact will not respond to you. It’s an autogenerated message. In conclusion, don’t spend a penny on this.

   I signed up for the site and was “off the waitlist” in one or two days out of 38,000 people. I find it hard to believe that thousands of people are waiting to get on the site. Seems more like a marketing tactic to get you to buy a membership so not sure if I’m buying it. When you first get on the site, you are assigned a “dating concierge” (aka a bot claiming to have gone to an Ivy League school) who gives you dating tips to be more successful on the site. I will say the site is full of very attractive, professional men but it’s not very diverse and predominantly white. As a non paying member you are shown 3 prospects a day (and not always new ones) and can only correspond with other members on the site you match with. Unless you pay for a membership you don’t have access to many perks on the site and are essentially just waiting around for someone to match with you. You also can’t see any “likes” from other members unless you pay so again, you’re just hoping you match with one of your daily prospects. The price of the memberships start as “low” as $100 for ONE WEEK. I understand the concept of paying more to have access to better quality people but I agree with a lot of others who found the pricing to be outlandish. I’ve also noticed A LOT of the same men who are on the site are also on hinge as well which is a way cheaper alternative for the “same access.”

3. 1/5I feel Unwelcomed on This App

   Don’t really have much to say other than I’ve been on the waiting list for a couple of years maybe? Also I still haven’t been able to tell if this app is LGBTQ+ inclusive. In the 2 years that I have been on I’ve only seen 1 person of color. At a point I genuinely thought this app was not meant for anyone who is a person of color at all because of the lack of diversity. Inclusion and diversity is important and I don’t see either of those things on this app. Update: After reaching out to support about being on the waitlist I was able to go on and what I’ve noticed, at least for me, is that I typically only get 1-3 guys in my batches whenever they’re available the rest are profiles of groups for people to join which I have no interest to and while I get you can meet potential matches that why it seems pointless if the purpose of the app is to meet one person. I also just genuinely feel like this app as a whole is completely elitist with it’s emphasis on careers and also puts more effort into putting out very attractive people in the batches which in turn for someone average looking like me just means even if I like their profile I just never get any matches. Very seldom do I even see people of color which as someone who is one feels like this app specifically only caters to a white extremely attractive audience. It should’ve just been called “The White League” I know they responded to my first review but honestly this app just comes off as “we’re not racist but secretly we are”.

4. 1/5Focused on monetization, support team unresponsive

   The app has not been showing my profile to people I voted on, after these back and forth issues I brought up with the support team. The support team also does not respond when you email them with glitches and issues with app, the DC league support team is very unfriendly and unhelpful/toxic vibe. When I paid for membership, the support team kept sending me low quality extra batches that did not meet my criteria to make up for extra batches I paid for. The support team in the DC location will manually change my preferences without my consent- multiple times, extremely creepy and feels purposely done at times. The quality on the app is not advertised at all, at least not in the DC location. I keep getting shown community college or other sub par education candidates and the male profile height is 5’7 even though I put height as the most important criteria for 5’10 and above. At one point, this app started showing me multiple profiles from an exact city over 300 miles away - it was a obviously a glitch but the app support does not respond nor help when I submit the glitch. This support team keeps telling me to lower my preference standards for education, religion etc. even though these are deal breakers for me. It’s entirely counter intuitive to what the app is advertising, feels like no one who is actually high quality wants to use this app due to the poor reputation and service it has garnered.

5. 1/5Here’s the honest truth from an unbiased view

   The only reason they have a high grade is just because they’re asking their friends family members employees to give them high ratings without legitimately using the app after using the app for only three days honestly, it’s a waste of time there is nothing in the app for you to use at all they tried to overcharge without giving you any real reason to want to even pay for anything. It’s a gamble if you do pay for it, it’s up to you if you wanna waste $20 a week for absolutely nothing because even the “free version” don’t give you more than five people to look at daily and those five people are Caucasian males that are not your preference they don’t help find people or calculate an algorithm that correlates with the information you’ve given the app about yourself and your preferences of what you like or what you’re attracted to there’s also no diversity mthe app looks nice and that’s about it. There’s nothing else to this app. It’s literally a blank app with nothing else to it. there is potential maybe one day in the future, but their pretentious goal with no substance to really encourage anybody to spend anything for it or even waste your time on this app even in the free version. It’s not there. I think they have to re-develop and go back to the drawing board and re-look at their algorithm settings and their price market and target audience. It’s to limited to narrow this just the honest blunt truth.

   this has been an expensive mistake. they never respond to your issues or correct any problems. when I disputed the credit card charge they relied on their contractual language instead of refunding me because they refused to provide the service that I'm paying for so you have no ability for resolution. today I was matched with a 21 year old kid who has a black eye in the photo. this is a money grab with no service behind it. disgraceful

   Probably the worst app I've tried. The "curated" picks were either 11 years younger than my minimum age preference or 500 miles away, the options are no better than any other app and it tries so hard to be "exclusive" while I'm getting people who have no pictures but dogs. Then they want you to pay for extra options.... absolutely not. This one was a huge waste of time.

   If you are looking to try something different in the world of dating apps, feel free to give this one a shot. But no matter what...DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. They don't show you to people you like unless you pay for a 'power move.' Also, despite living in the 2nd largest metropolitan area in one of the largest states in the nation, I started running low on 'prospects' after about 2 weeks. They will quickly start showing you many people outside of your preferences...including age, distance, etc.
