  1. 5/5This is my trainer

I started to watch some hybrid athletes and became convinced that this was the right way to train. Eventually I found HYBRD and gave it a try. If you are looking to start Hybrid training you shouldn’t go anywhere else. This app gives me motivation, accountability, and customizable training depending on my goals. They are also coming out with improvements regularly which makes me excited about the apps future! This is one of the only fitness apps that I believe is completely worth the cost!

  2. 2/5Glitchy

I’ve tried using this app for about a month now, and it seems as though there haven’t been much done about some of the glitches when using the app. The drag and drop function in the calendar when rearranging workouts doesn’t function properly and drags the selected item to a completely different date. When the app is linked to a device (Garmin in my case) the workout will duplicate the workout results (i.e. when running 4 miles in the treadmill, the app will display 8 miles because it added the results from the app itself with my Garmin device). I want to like this app since it caters to Hybrid athletes, but I unfortunately have not been overly impressed with the user interface and potential bugs found in the app.

  3. 5/5New Workout App

I never thought about the way cardio and strength training combined until I tried HYBRD. Heard about it from a friend so figured I’d give it a try. After training for my first marathon, I essentially became a weak and feeble man, and after training for my second race while using HYBRD instead, I am back to my burly ways. It actually taught me how to manage my hybrid training in a way other apps couldn’t and already had all the features other workout apps did, so it made sense for me to stay and subscribe.

  4. 5/5Must Have Fitness App

HYBRD is hands-down the best fitness app I’ve ever used. It pulls together all my workout data—from my watch, phone, and favorite apps—and gives me a full 360° view of my training. No more bouncing between platforms or trying to piece things together manually. The performance insights are next-level. It doesn’t just track what I’ve done—it actually helps me understand where I’m improving, what I need to work on, and how to train smarter. The optimization tools feel like having a personal coach in your pocket. And the social side? Competing with friends across different workout styles is incredibly motivating. It keeps me accountable and adds a fun, competitive edge to my routine. If you’re serious about your fitness—or just want a better way to track and improve across all your workouts—HYBRD is absolutely worth it.

  5. 4/5Great Developers

I originally rated this app a 2, strictly out of comparison to others I have used. I was contacted by Ben, one of the co-founders, who took time to break things down and help me improve my use of the app. He also admitted the team is constantly trying to make improvements and although it is not perfect yet, they are working on making it a great platform. The time taken to receive my feedback and discuss future implementations of improvement gives this a 4 star review, with full confidence it’ll be a 5 star app within no time.

    # HYBRD workout tracking is now completely free. Yes, really. All of HYBRD’s workout tracking, performance metrics, and historical trends are now available at no cost. No trial. No expiration. Just full access to the data that helps you understand how you’re training. Here’s how to think about free vs. premium: * Free: Track every workout, see trends over time, and analyze your performance. * Premium: Anything forward-looking: training plans, guidance on what to do next, scheduling workouts, and forward-looking analytics. Our mission is to help athletes train better, push themselves, and do hard things. Making core tracking free is how we can support more athletes, regardless of where they are in their journey. We’ll continue investing heavily in both tiers, and we’ve got some especially exciting updates coming soon for HYBRD Premium. ## New Features Push to Garmin button: We’ve added a button to the scheduled workout preview to make it easier to push your scheduled workouts - lifts, runs, etc - to your Garmin. HYBRD Playground: Added a new setting to let you have more fun naming your workouts – check it out in the settings menu. Training Load Muscle Focus Graph: You can now see a breakdown of your training load by muscle group at the bottom of the Trends tab. ## Improvements * Added pace recognition to the AI workout logger, so you can say “I ran 4 miles @ 8:00” and it will populate relevant fields, such as duration. * Add pace/distance targets when you push your workout to Garmin, making it easier to follow your scheduled workout. * Added buttons for giving feedback on training plans overall, and specific training plan workouts. * Rename “Apple Watch” integration to “Apple Health” to make it more clear
