1. 5/5Best app for interior home design!!

   I’ve looked into multiple free home design apps, and this is by far the best. The online website version is a best option I find. Even with the free plan, you have access to thousands of furnishing ideas, from paint colors to couches to beds to kitchen appliances. The ability to switch between 2D, 3D, and in-person modes is extremely versatile. You can upload previous floor plans and draw over them, into the project. It’s amazing! There are a few downsides to the app, as usual with every app. The snapping effect can be a bit finicky and annoying and it cannot be turned off. Also, you can only create new floors based on the bottom floor. In other words, you cannot create a new floor based on the floor of a higher level. Additionally, you cannot adjust the walls in 3d mode, or view more than one floor level at a time. I hope homebyme makes changes to these things in the future.

2. 2/5cannot make video

   My team have been being Unlimited + yearly subscribers from 2023, although Homebyme had a few times problems but finally it is back to normal status , and I have been able to get my understanding . But recently, from beginning of December 2024, my teams can not nake 1080p video with our different unlimited + yearly accounts , we have send several emails to supporting teams of homebyme, but no any solution to solve the problem until after 30 days in January 2025 . Their support team seems figured out the problem, we can make the 1080p video again. Unfortunately, as Unlimited + yearly subscribers, we should be able to make videos without Homebyme logo, and the videos we had made in the past years,has been clear without homebyme logo, it is very important to us to make clean video without homebyme logo,it is the reason why we paid unlimited + yearly subscribers. But this time, there is no any reply no any service when we send email and resend email to homebyme! And we found the problem has been there, seems nobody take care of the Unlimited + yearly subscribers. This is so bad feeling about service.

3. 4/5in love but glitchy

   i’ve tried a few other home design apps before, both online and on my ipad. but this is one is most surprisingly amazing with the app functionality on the iphone ! I love the extensive catalog for products and design options, building options and even love that I can make my own furniture. it’s like a creative dream !! however sometimes it’ll get pretty glitchy. some items will disappear when you’re moving an item underneath it. sometimes it’s difficult to move an item if there’s items around it until you angle camera just right. sometimes it will sign me out of the app and I have to sign back in. this has happened several times. online, after you start adding “too many” items in the space you’re creating, the entire space starts lagging. it’s faster and easier on the phone but I haven’t been able to add doors or windows while using the phone app. i’m praying for an update to fix these issues but otherwise, i’m still in love with this app.

4. 4/5Loved it, but recent changes aren’t great…

   I really loved this app, and it has helped me find a lot of products that I needed (yes, retailers of products included). But recent software changes (?) have removed many helpful features, and have negated use/change of currently installed features. For example, now I can’t add molding (nor remove or change what is installed from before the software change). I can’t add chair-rail or even remove what I currently see on the 3-D. I’ve found that these changes, plus many other decorative features like trim, boiserie options, or crown molding completely gone and totally inaccessible, even if they are currently already installed. Also, I used to be able to move furniture or accessories completely outside of the design to temporarily ‘store’ them out of the frame as I looked at various options. Now, I can’t even move a sofa from one room to another if the “hallway” in between won’t accomodate the size, as if it were real-life, even if said sofa would perfectly fit in the other room, and should be able to be moved. It makes it hard to visualize the products in the space. After a very long remodel, I’m pretty experienced with this app, so it’s not user error. Going online for help only shows the previous “how to” and says nothing about new changes and instructions after the recent update. So all in all, many detrimental changes, but it’s still fairly helpful to find what you need and viualize it in -situ.

5. 5/5Best app for home design by far!!!

   Seriously, this is the best app for home design I’ve ever used. The other apps can’t even compare. The options for accessories, furniture, decor etc. is extensive. You can change the color for a lot of the items and move them around with ease. I’m so impressed by the amount of flooring, wall and paint choices. The layout of HomeByMe is user friendly and I just love the different parts of the app over all. The ease of changing the size of the rooms and objects is perfect. I hope this app stays as perfect as it is!! I am genuinely so pleased I found this app. I thank the creators for being so talented, creative and kind. I really appreciate the work you put in ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
