1. 5/5Absolutely love it!

   I wish I was a YouTuber so I can tell more people about this. I really love this system and the recipes they offer. I’m not a cook. I don’t know the first thing about cooking anything. So I struggled to find easy meals I could cook for myself at home. I always got caught up on getting the right ingredients, what brands to buy over others, how much I should buy so I don’t have leftovers or too little, etc. So I decided to try this out and it makes it a hundred times easier. They give you all the major ingredients you need and the recipes for all your meals. The only things they don’t include are small things you should already have in your kitchen like salt and pepper and cooking oil. The recipes are easy to follow and I’m always able to follow it. One thing I wish they would do is explain the difference between dicing, mincing and roughly chopping. Like I said, I’m dumb, I don’t know anything about cooking, so that would help. But aside from that, my meals come out looking good every time, which is definitely saying something. If you want your meals by Sunday, you need choose them by Tuesday which is a bit early in the week for me. I’m usually not thinking about next week’s meals on Tuesday. But I understand that they need time to contact their suppliers so they can get exactly the stuff they need for specific meals. Other than that it’s great. I would recommend this to everyone I know but they all know how to cook already. But I’m still ready to do so if I find anyone who doesn’t cook.

2. 5/5This has changed my life!!

   I started using Hello Fresh two months ago, and I finally enjoy cooking! Having everything there with the perfect amount of everything is a game changer. My boyfriend is happily serving as my guinea pig. He has always loved my cooking, but this has elevated me to “chef” status! One day he said, “I hate to put you to so much trouble. Maybe we should cut back.” I almost cried and surprised myself when I begged him, “Please don’t take this away from me. It’s the most fun I’ve had in years and is the highlight of my day.” Now he helps pick out the meals, and we alternate between my house and his. I don't have to stand in the kitchen and agonize about what to put together or pick up fast food out of desperation. I was getting tired of Chinese or Pizza. We eat at the table every time and have grown so much closer since we don’t sit with plate in hand in front of the TV. Last night we sat and talked and laughed for two hours at the table. I’m not exaggerating when I say this has brought us closer. My grocery bill is much less than before, too. I love to come home from work on Thursday and see that box on my front porch! Going out to eat once a week is more enjoyable, too. Especially when a simple meal out costs more than three meals with HelloFresh. We tried HomeChef for a couple of weeks, but we both feel that HelloFresh is better. I’m thrilled to see some of our favorites coming back to the lineup. Thank you, HelloFresh for changing my life for the better.

3. 5/5HelloFresh is Awesome

   My boyfriend and I both work long hours and were finding it difficult to make dinner every night. We would end up making the same 2 meals in rotation or ordering out and spending superfluous money on delivery. I also went through a phase of trying to buy recipes at the grocery store each week for 5 different meals, but it was incredibly expensive, and I’d always end up throwing out extra ingredients. We signed up for HelloFresh on a whim about 6 months ago (5 meals a week), and I don’t think we’ll ever go back. Every single meal has been delicious, even those I would never have chosen to make on my own. I’ve always been a pretty good cook, but the HF recipes have certainly taught me some new skills in the kitchen. They’re super easy to make, always fresh, and plenty of options to keep things interesting. Plus, the ingredients are perfectly measured out for you, so you’re never throwing stuff out or wasting money on a whole box/package of something you’ll never use again. We’ve been eating healthier than we have in the last 4 years. On top of that, the HF customer service is wonderful. I had a couple of vegetables for one meal that weren’t fresh, so I called their support line, got through to a real person right away, and was given a free box of 5 meals for the following week. We’ve raved about HF so much that my parents, sister, and three of our couple friends have also joined—all with the same outcome! I can’t say enough nice things about the food, company, and ease of service. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone!

4. 5/5Really enjoying it

   I shopped around with different food delivery services and these are the things I like best about Hello Fresh: the recipe cards are clear and fun to read and use. The app has a cool vibe. The recipes use a lot of ingredients and are tasty. There’s a huge selection each week to choose from. It’s easy to skip a week if you don’t like anything. It’s also easy change the pre-selected meals, or to add or subtract meals. Some meals are customizable— some substitutions are free, while other upgraded ingredients or extras costs a little more. It’s still nice to have these options. I have not had any issues with customer service. One week there as a problem with my delivery (they use a company for this) and I didn’t get my box and they couldn’t send a replacement. As someone else has mentioned, part of the refund is a credit toward future boxes, at the end of the discount promo period. I called and said I wanted the whole refund now and the guy was super nice and credited my credit card right away, no big deal. Good customer service. Lastly, it is kind of pricey—but you get convenience for your money. Buying all those ingredients individually can add up and you would end up with lots of excess stuff. Besides, it’s a great way to try different dishes and learn how to cook things you might not have before. I’m enjoying the service.

5. 5/5App Is Streamlined and Sophisticated

   I never review apps. I was so impressed with this app that I wanted to share my experience. The app was surprisingly streamlined and exceedingly easy to use. I am able to quickly and easily manage, pause, or change my weekly deliveries. It is simple to update my menu selections week by week. I like that it is not difficult to pause or cancel your deliveries as needed; unlike with other companies, it is very transparent and there are no hoops to jump through. My favorite feature is the cookbook. You can save the recipes that you like into the cookbook for reference again in the future, or if you loose the recipe card that arrives with the delivery. This way, you can make the recipe again, even on your own if you are no longer having food delivered. You are able to select the number of servings you want to make and the ingredients automatically adjust. The ingredients are shown by picture and title in an easy to follow format. The app walks you through the recipe in a user friendly fashion that is far easier to follow as compared to googling a recipe and scrolling through some blog to a confusing, difficult to follow recipe. Without discussing Hello Fresh's ingredients, delivery, and recipes (all of which I am very pleased with), I highly recommend the app itself to customers wanting to get the most out of their subscription.
