1. 1/5Do Not Use! Terrible service and not a trustworthy system

   Getting support through the app, on the phone or by email is difficult. I called 10+ times and no one would answer. When I sent an email, they said to call them, which makes no sense when someone doesn’t pick up. Your funds and round ups pull from your bank account immediately, but take days to show up in the Guac account and getting those funds back to your bank is a headache. I had fraud on my bank information that I originally signed up with them with. Rather than be able to update my current bank information, they said they would have to issue me a check in order for me to get MY funds back that I saved. A CHECK?! The whole thing is very inconvenient and not worth your time. You’re better off manually rounding up your transactions and putting those funds in savings in YOUR OWN bank so that way you always have access to them and they’re not in control by a third party. There is no point in saving up for a rainy day/emergency fund, and then not being able to use those funds for several weeks...waiting for a check to issue?! With technology today that should never have to happen. Customer service was unprofessional, and when I was asking questions to explain how the app worked they made it seem like I was unintelligent because I didn’t know every detail fine print that was listed on their website/app- when I was just asking for clarification of how everything works. Very untrustworthy and I do not recommend to anyone.

   This is a SCAM. My bank looked into it and they are not legitimate. On my previous review they responded with a bunch of lies as they are likely doing with every review here. They have no overdraft protection at all. They cost me hundreds of dollars in overdraft fees. They didn’t put a stop to anything and overdraft my account by FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS. They also didn’t let me delete my account at all. I had to read through the fine print and the only reason they finally stopped stealing HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS from my account is because I followed the fine print details to the exact letter and could have actually taken them to court for what they scammed me out of if they hadn’t. If you don’t believe me and believe whatever bullsh** reply they try to respond to this with just go to your bank and show them the app. Ask them what they think. This app is a complete grift. They are taking way more from your account than you realize and they have the legal right to do so. You will never see that money again. I almost became homeless because of this app over the summer.

   I have tried to give an open and honest review several times but somehow it never shows up. Let’s see if this attempt does. The concept of the app is incredible however the execution and blatant lies in the fine print are pretty mind blowing. I guess businesses now online or not forget how much word of mouth really spreads. The so called “customer service” I spoke with was not only rude but extremely condescending. Might I add even though he spoke to me as if I was a 5 year old I had still already done everything he was telling me to do. He couldn’t know that though because he wouldn’t stop running his cake whole to let me speak! I know in his mind I’m one single person and he’s right however ALOT OF PEOPLE IN OUR HISTORY HAVE BEEN LONE SOLDIERS and accomplished quite a bit. So keep that in mind you condescending, facetious and unprofessional “customer service” representative. Shame on you for being so ugly

4. 1/5Avoid At All Costs

   I’ve had this app for almost 4 years now and absolutely loved it. It was a literal asset so it pains me to write this review but as of late, my funds are locked in the app. When I try to withdraw them, it says that my account is locked for “reason unknown”. NO ONE will answer the support line and I’ve been trying for three weeks. Emails have been sent and voicemails have been left. Nothing. Concerned for my bank accounts safety, I’ve tried to delete my information from the app and it will not remove my bank info. Their customer support is trash. Don’t download this app. UPDATE: they responded to this post claiming that we spoke? We have never spoke. No email has been answered, no phone call has been answered. I was able to move my money out of the account but regardless, these people still have my bank account information because the app WONT LET ME DELETE the info. This app had such potential and I really miss using it but once they showed how terrible their customer support is, I will never recommend Guac again. Please answer your users emails and requests are take this app off the grid.

5. 5/5Notes to developer please take it into consideration for the greater good....

   Update the app... The update should include: *Phone number for customer service *A walkthrough of how to transfer money INSIDE THE APP because to you it may be simple but to new app users it’s complicated and we don’t like that we will go into a panic of frustration of how to retrieve our money back and plus why should we have to wait 5 days just to get a complicated response of how to fix our problems if u don’t like that idea feel free to at least put it into the FAQ *Be quicker on response time (aka within the next 48 hours) otherwise we will start to think it’s a bogus app SOMETHING THAT CAN BE VERY HELPFUL WOULD BE A TUTORIAL VIDEO ON EACH QUESTION COMMONLY ASKED FOR ANDROIDS AND APPLE USERS i know it would’ve been very useful to a lot of people that just got the app including me These are personal references but I am a customer and I’m sure lots of other would agree on somethings I have typed also u should add a setting feature like push notifications would be very helpful for some people who want to be aware of the transactions the app is making to their bank account and to keep up with their spending and savings But this is ur app so I can only give constructive criticism and hope u take it into a lot of consideration I’m only saying this because that would help the app get lots of more downloads I told at least 50 people to download the app and try it out 30 of them deleted it because it was confusing the others found out how to do the main part which is add to savings and withdraw thanks to me otherwise they probably would have deleted it too I was going to at one point until I realized how much money I had in the app
