2/5Keeps Crashing
I’ve never heard of this company until recently, and I’ve read good reviews so I’d thought to give them a try. Rules and stipulations regarding getting items covered seems a bit much to me but that’s besides the point of this review. The App keeps crashing since the last update. It seems to be very buggy and has a lot of issues, especially whilst uploading the photos of items. The inconsistencies and bugs of this app makes me quite weary, to be honest, in uploading and inputting my info (serial no’s, model no’s, etc) AKKO needs to fix these issues ASAP. Thank you.

5/5Don't Let The Negative Reviews Fool You
I've had Akko for a few months and was very skeptical because of the negative reviews. Well, i had a crappy accident with my Canon lens while working which resulted in damages near $600. After filing a claim, I provided all the requested information and a receipt once the repair was complete. I paid a small deductible and they covered the rest! Yes! So worth it. You cant beat this insurance.

Have had this company for over six months and I ran into a problem with how the picture was taken in a previous claim but I talked it up as my mistake and decided to keep them that was my mistake. Then I try to put a claim in for my galaxy Z flip three which screen went bad the inner screen and I already had the device under my devices had the pictures everything well now they’re telling me they want me to take a picture of the screen again with the identifying marks what how the heck am I supposed to do that when the screen doesn’t work Stay where you guys at this company is straight worthless

I hereby confirm that this company really did help me with my phone. My phone got burned, and they replaced it. Full price. Whatever you see bad comments in there – those people probably didn’t follow the rules, but I can confirm that those people really did help me and they are legit. Thank you Akko team.

Akko likes to take all your money and make claims take too long and complicated till the point you have to pay out of pocket for a repair and then they do not refund you. Also when canceling a subscription they will force you to pay for the next billing period instead of allowing you to cancel it immediately. I have had akko for a year. I have paid $10 a month and have had two broken devices. I have made two claims this year and did not receive any help for either of them.
