I love the new system where all of the government services you receive can be easily accessed through a dashboard . I did have issues with the app working and recognising I was at the page to make it verify my ID. But after logging out and back in it worked.

Passport bio scan doesn’t work, it took multiple attempts to login, had to log out and back in. Had to delete and reinstall the app. Eventually managed to get the window to allow me to upload documents. Then it wouldn’t scan the passport. In the end I gave up altogether after wasting hours trying to verify details. And used the website and completed that way.

2/5No Apple wallet?!
App works ok but is very limited and still relies on sending you to a web browser. Only lets you add veterans card at the moment. It’s a nice start though still the app doesn’t have an option to put the card in your apple wallet. USA have had driving licenses in apple wallet since 2022.

Nowhere does the system explain that this app has to be used in conjunction with a website on another device. Nor does it say anywhere to NOT open the app until you are instructed to do so by the website otherwise the app does not function. David Graeber’s book celebrating the idiocies of bureaucracy comes to mind …
