Good Air: Weather & AQI Widget

Now you can select a default station for your saved city, tap on station name on the city AQI page to change it. Also select station when you're adding any city. Fixed a major bug where nearby AQI for some locations weren't showing or showing from a far away distance. Add widgets on home screen or lock screen for the best experience.

The AQI Map for India is now available in Cities section, making it easier to explore air quality across regions. Widgets are now faster and refresh your location automatically, even without opening the app. Rankings have been expanded to include major cities across all states, and notifications are now smarter, adapting to the time of day.

AQI historical trends and detailed charts are now available in Station Details, making it easier to track how air quality changes over time. You may also notice new Aurora effects appearing in Dark Theme, along with new city skyline backgrounds in Light Theme when the air quality gets really poor.

Fixed an issue where some stations were displaying outdated AQI data, along with performance improvements in the Rankings section.

Bug fixes and improvements

Weather has arrived with Good Air 2.0. For the first time, Good Air goes beyond air quality and brings weather into the experience. Check current conditions, track rain through the day, see exactly when it's expected to stop, and get alerts when wet weather is likely to stick around for days. We've also rebuilt the sky itself, with realistic sunrises and sunsets, dynamic clouds, natural rainfall, and a moon that moves across the night sky. We've also made air quality more flexible. You can now switch between India's NAQI and the US AQI standard. Plus, you can add an evening air quality reminder alongside your morning check-in. Find them under settings inside more. And there's plenty of polish under the hood: widgets now automatically follow you when you travel, reminders adapt to your new city's air quality, weather refreshes when you return to the app, transitions are smoother, and dozens of small improvements make Good Air feel faster and more reliable every day.

You can now track air quality and weather for cities worldwide, not just India. Head to Cities and add the places where your friends and family live to keep an eye on their local conditions. We've also improved our AQI algorithms. Good Air can now more confidently identify and filter out faulty monitoring stations, helping provide more accurate and reliable air quality data.
