  1. 5/5Very, Very, Nearly Perfect !!!

GongMaster is an ideal yet very simple meditation timer app enabling the user to activate a beginning and ending tone and also an intermediate tone that will repeat at a specified interval throughout the overall meditation time period. These features make GongMaster an excellent and elegant timer that will meet most people’s needs. I would like to be able to set up a meditation time of three, four, or five hours duration and set a single, non-repeating intermediate gong to occur at a time of my choosing. As it is, GongMaster limits the overall meditation time to 60 minutes, and the intermediate gong is a repeating gong only. So, it doesn’t quite fill all my meditation timer needs. Nevertheless, GongMaster is a beautiful and well designed app and fulfills a great need in the worldwide meditation community.

  2. 5/5Simple, transformative, & elegant

I’ve used all the big-name meditation apps and each of them made me feel overwhelmed with all the decisions I had to make and buttons I had to press to start a meditation session. GongMeister is the complete opposite—it’s a delight, it’s simple, lightweight, and non-disruptive. Kudos to the developer. They really thought through the design, user experience, and the goal that a user wants to achieve in meditation. Highly recommend!! And, I also encourage users to donate to the developer in-app (it’s completely optional) to give them a big thanks for the simplicity and for making the app free to all.

  3. 5/5The perfect minimal silent meditation timer with singing bowls

Amazing app, max 60 minute silent timer with beginning, intermittent, regular, and ending gongs. It has minimal features, a great aesthetic, and it functions perfectly as designed. The singing bowl strikes aren’t harsh and you can really focus on them as they attenuate into silence, if that’s part of your practice in a given day. Exactly what I was looking for, thank you for making this available
