   I have been a user of the Genius app from nearly the beginning. This company and this product is superior in every way to other scoring and tournament software apps. I researched multiple options and every year when my renewal comes up I look again. The features alone are worth the product, but as an admin and profesional, what keeps me coming back is the outstanding and quick customer support. I get better support from Genius than not just a “golf” company, but any company at all. Add to this their receptivity to product enhancement suggestions and you can’t go wrong!

2. 1/5This is what you get when it’s all you’ve got.

   My men’s club uses golf genius to manage all of our tournament needs. It’s ok. It’s clunky. Either GG has poor training or lacks customer support, likely both. The app won’t let me access my club but the site will. My mens club board doesn’t know what’s going on and GG is nowhere to be found. I’ve deleted the app, reinstalled, shut my phone down, soft reset. Downloaded the app directly from the site where I’m logged in and accessing my club. Still nothing. Gonna be hard to track my tournament scores live as required by my club… The error that continues to pop for me is “You are not part of any leagues / events / trips”. Inaccurate since I’m accessing my league with all the same login information. Side note, it’s not the most user friendly when tracking your scores and summarizing your round at the end to balance to your official card. It’s fine in that aspect but is not exceptional.

3. 4/5Needs GGID favorites or last used options

   I repeatedly use several GGIDs for a couple groups and have to remember them to switch between the leagues/groups/events. Having the app list the last 5 GGIDs used in a drop down or the ability to favorite GGIDs used would be so helpful for users that are very active in the app. Side note when entering group scores lately if you’re too quick the first players score will not input, it remains blank but skips to the next player as if it was entered and it’s caused confusion with the women I play with who aren’t very good with technology. Seems to be a neeer glitch.

4. 4/5Useful but hard to read on phone and computer

   The app is neat when playing golf with groups and it's fun to see how different teams and players are doing in real time. The only issue, which is significant, is that the font is often very small and hard to read on both the phone and desktop versions. The visual presentation of the app can be greatly improved. Golf Genius, please take a look at how Apple, for example, presents information - it's far more user friendly. You can easily make the app much better visually.

5. 3/5Mostly Great

   Our club started using Golf Genius and after a bit of resistance, most have embraced it. I love it for scoring and mid tournament management. I do not love it for event registration. The font for invites and announcements is tiny and golfers are mostly old. It makes me hate seeing a golf genius email. This seems like a simple fix. One more thing. At the end of a tournament, the choices are review scores and score summary. Please edit one of these options to say: scores are turned in and you are finished and you can go have a drink. “Score summary” sounds like there are most steps to be done to turn in your card. Golf Genius has helped our club and our staff and thanks.
