   This app is amazing. I only have one problem. Please get the swing ID to work on Driving Range, please. It is so annoying to have to pay for a full round of golf to see the swing ID. And if anybody has not used the swing ID yet it is a game changer. This app is worth $100 a year simply for the swing ID as long as it works in Driving Range , or in your backyard at your house just someplace other than being on the actual physical golf course. Can you please give some type of update of when the swing ID will work at a Driving Driving or away from a Golf Course. But this app is truly amazing. There is not any app that’s even close to this not Arco’s, not 18Birdies. Nothing there’s no app that compares to what this app does. I remember this app when it just gave you three yardages back in middle. So the developers and owners of this app you have something amazing with swinging ID can you please get it to work at a Driving Range before the end of this year please please please please please please please. #SwingID

2. 2/5Basic and confusing

   The preview in the App Store shows flyovers with distance markers. The app does do flyovers but no distance markers. No ability to drag a spot on the map and get an estimate on how far to an obstacle or boundary might be away. Also confusing over the different types of paid membership - pro $15/month, champions $20/month, but no definition of which version unlocks which features. So if I buy Pro but it doesn’t have the feature I hoped for, do I now have to upgrade to Champion level? Make this easier. Explain what each does. Which one gives me the ability to gauge distance to target by touching & dragging on the screen? Seems like a no brainer. Make it easier, people understand which does which, and you sell to more customers… Pretty much just use it as a digital scorecard. It may have some amazing features in the paid version but I’ll never know when there’s no ability to show which version does what. Keeps score easy though. Edit: dev response that I can check it elsewhere helps prove my point. Purchase right in the app with no idea what does what unless you dig up the definitions somewhere else, and we’re not giving you anywhere in the app to define those terms. Basically, “figure it out yourself.” If you want a digital scorecard, this works fine. Beyond that, find another option.

3. 4/5Didn’t work right out of the gate

   I was excited to try out the auto shot tracker. I signed up for the free trial. Recieved the notification from apple that my subscription has started. But I still was not able to access the pro version of the app and turn on auto shot tracking. It kept asking me to upgrade to pro. So I went ahead and set up my round anyway (which btw wasn’t easy to figure out the first time). The phone did not sync with my watch so I had to manually open the app on my Apple Watch. Other golf apps I’ve used automatically synced up. So this was another extra step I had to take. Everything was going well (except for not being able to use the auto shot tracker which was the whole point of this app) except when I went to put in my score for hole 10, the number boxes were blank and I was unable to enter my score. I looked at the app on my phone and it said I was on hole number 1. After fumbling around a bit I was able to somehow get it working again. I might give this app another try if I can get the auto shot tracking working with the free trial. Otherwise, there are better apps out there for sure.

4. 3/5Not what I hoped

   I have an iPhone X and an Apple Watch 3 series and decided to give this app a try on a 5-day golf trip. Downloading the courses and navigating the app on the phone were okay but there were some usability issues I found very frustrating. First, starting a round is easy enough but figuring out how to end a round (if you intended to just look at the hole fly-overs, or decided to score manually) is a challenge. The “end round” feature is buried in the menu and without finding it, there’s no alternative to load a new course. After setting up my clubs and distances, I found the overall suggestions from the app on the phone to be decent and the GPS to be within a yard of other hand held GPS that were present on the courses I was playing. The major issue was the lag on the watch and the fact that even though the round was being played with my phone in pocket, the watch rarely ever could keep and glancing at my wrist yielded either the yardage from the tee (start) or dashes. Very often the applet on the watch would t even come up and I would need to hunt for it. I wanted this to be easier and more intuitive and was considering the $29 if the response on the watch was decent but it just wasn’t

5. 2/5No longer works properly

   Since updating to iPhone Xs Max (previously using iOS 11.0.0 not updated) on iOS 12.0, using my Apple Watch Series 3 I am having horrible GPS lag time and battery life on my watch is significantly worse by about 40-50%. I typically would finish 18 holes starting with 100% on my watch and finish somewhere between 50-60% battery. Yesterday and today, I finished with 15% or less both times. Also, the “always on GPS” on the watch is definitely not working. I tried turning it on and off a couple times, but the message stating that “GPS is active” on the watch never shows. Massive lag between turning wrist to see the screen and reading an accurate GPS distance with full bars of signal. Frequently I was waiting to get an accurate reading, about 20 extra seconds per shot which is a lot of time wasted. I have already removed the app from my watch and re-added it, removed the app from my phone and re-downloaded it, restarted my phone multiple times, restored my phone and watch to factory settings and restored from backup, and made sure the app was fully up to date on my device, being sure to allow location services within settings for this app “always”. Also set the GPS delay in settings on the app to “always on” as well as setting it for “always on” on the watch. I actually had to download a separate GPS app today while on the course in order to get distancing and was forced to use your app for strictly scoring only because of the huge GPS delay. I just purchased pro for $15 for the year and now I am needing to consider another app when before I had no issues using this one, and actually really like the interface. Please fix this app. Sent this to support and they did not respond for over 2 weeks.
