1. 4/5A few QoL features that would make this app more enjoyable

   I’m only gonna read the app and not the hostile. The hostile is a different review. I wish this had support for Apple wallet so I only had to touch my watch or your phone and I didn’t have to open the app when I select a key in the app I haven’t found a way (yet) to unselect that key. It should just be as easy to tap the key that you selected to unselect it, but it is not. I believe it has beneficial to have it told you to add a specific key to the controls on an iPhone Lock Screen (default are the camera and flashlight buttons) which will make it easier for one to open and lock a door without having to fiddle around with their phone. Also, rearranging the order of keys in the app would be nice

2. 5/5Great Hostel - Highly Recommend!

   Myself and two friends recently stayed at St Christopher's Village and had a great time. It is well maintained and has everything you could possibly need. On the ground floor there is a bar attached to the lobby which they provide many discounts for. They have a nice terrace near the top of the building that all guests can enjoy. Beds are comfortable and they have many bathrooms and showers throughout the building. There is a place to lock and store your belongs for a small price if you’re arriving early or leaving late which is super convenient. In the rooms there are also storage areas underneath the beds for locking your belongings away if you would like. Laundry machines that you may pay to use are also available while staying there. The hostel has planned events every night, which I highly recommend if you’re wanting to meet some new people. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My friends and I spoke with Kai, a front desk worker, on multiple occasions and he was kind, helpful, charismatic, and funny. He provided recommendations on places to visit in the area and was able to help a friend of mine when their phone was stolen. I highly recommend staying here and bringing friends with you. It is a great place located in a great area. I will definitely be coming back.

   I first arrive with a last minute reservation and Christian (African American at the front desk) was very stand off ish towards me. I specifically ask for a non coed room and he replies “would you rather bunk with a bunch of dudes”, so he places me in a room of women. One of the girls who work there is yelling screaming and cursing into the phone and is very aggressive and ghetto. I get moved to another room with out warning and I am unable to use my key card. I understand why a room of women would feel uncomfortable with a male in the room. The floors were disgusting nothing is clean and there are no doors; so no privacy. I was accused of trying to “blow up the building”. Someone supposedly heard me say that but none saw it (probably because I didn’t say that to anyone). This sounds ridiculous all together but with all the craziness going on I can see it happening there due to the lack of efforts the staff puts in. The manager was the least bit professional wasn’t dressed in proper attire and everyone had B.O. you definitely get what you pay for and next time I’m going to a good hotel that respects their customers. Zero aloha, zero stars I wouldn’t go back nor recommend this spot to anyone.

   U street hostel made our Washington DC trip possible. Price was great for a large private room with twin size bunk beds, shower, toilet and sink. Although their website prohibits children, my kids were allowed probably because this room has a private non sharing bathroom. I had some thing shipped to the hostel on the day we arrived and they accepted the package. The room was clean, mattresses were comfy, and the room was cool in temperature. You have to add the GOKI app for the keys to the main door and room key to check in There is a Walgreens across the street and a trader’s joe about 1.5 blocks away. There is a refrigerator, microwave, dining table and chairs on the second floor. The U street green line metro is right around the corner. The bus is also across the street. I do wish the maximum length of stay was longer than 7 days.

5. 5/5Overnight stay

   I love this hostel. I’m originally from DC but recently moved to another city. Every time I come home, this is where I stay. The staff are always cool, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The space is always clean and inviting. There are a few options to choose from for your stay and none of them disappoint. When I’m staying for a short time after a show, or a night out I stay in a pod. It’s spacious, private, and comfortable. There are communal showers (which are always kept clean) as well as laundry facilities. When I want to stay with a friend, I always get the single room. It comes with a bunk bed, and your own bathroom. I really appreciate spaces like these that offer reasonable prices, a warm environment and energy, and to top it off, cleeeeaaaannn.
