1. 1/5Job notifications are awful

   I don’t get alerts for jobs. If I do it is only after a job has been sitting unfilled for 20 minutes. Another substitute I work with and I were working together and she was getting alerts all day. We compared her app (different than frontline) to this one and I got alerts 15-20 minutes after her app alerted her. I realized frontline only sent me alerts for jobs that had been sitting unfilled that no one wanted/picked up. While she got the alerts when they posted. That explains why I have days that I can’t find sub work and I lose money, it’s because I thought alerts were being sent to me as soon as a teacher requested a sub only to find out the subs with other apps were getting alerts way before me so I don’t stand a chance using Frontline. I even delete delete and redownload the app several times a week to see if that helps it but it only works for like a day and after that I’m back to late or no notifications. You aren’t supposed to delete and redownload an app every 2-3 days for it to function like it’s supposed to, that’s a waste of time and ridiculous.

2. 3/5What’s going on?

   The last update is not giving notifications in a timely manner. Last year, no problems getting jobs. They were on time & I changed my preferences many times without a problem. But, by the time I get them this year, they are long gone - esp for full time jobs! THEN I changed my preferences last week, saved them & suddenly, all Labor Day weekend…not a notification at all! So, I checked online yesterday, & my mouth dropped open in shock. My entire district had been completely wiped out! Not 1 checkmark was on it. And I check & double check ANYTIME I change something. I was flabbergasted. However, not one Support check mark had been checked off! So, just this afternoon, I was at a job, and my husband told me the app had stopped working but my paid app was still picking up jobs. Sure enough, I tried it, and it isn’t working! You sign-in and it either just stays on the purple screen, or if you’re lucky to get to the sign-in screen, it just runs and runs & does not ever sign-in! This is getting old. I’m on my 2nd year, and it’s not working.

3. 3/5Things could be better

   In an ideal world this app would be perfect and could do all the things (non workdays, time sheets, previous work day etc). It’s fine but not amazing. Not crazy about the recent update. 1. Available jobs should be the easiest to see/get to so for obvious reasons it should be the first thing at the top of the screen. Then scheduled jobs. Then non workdays. 2. The notifications are always delayed. I never get notifications for available jobs as they’re posted, only after some time has passed and by then other subs have taken them. Postings and notifications should either be sent out within a reasonable time or there should be scheduled times for them to be released. It’s hard to keep track of postings when I’m on a job and can’t constantly check and refresh the app. 3. The app randomly signs me out and takes time to log back in and I’m not able to see the recent availabilities before someone gets to it. It might be fore security reasons or it could be a bug, but it definitely inconveniences me when trying to schedule a job. 4. Jobs that have already been taken by a sub should be taken off the list asap. The amount of times I have logged on and seen a list of “available jobs” only to be shown a message saying that they’ve all been taken and won’t go away even after refreshing for 5 minutes is ridiculous. Everything takes forever to happen on the app.

4. 1/5So glitchy and laggy

   I don’t even know how to begin with this app. I’ve never hated an app so much than this one. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it like I work for Kelly education and they use this app to pick up substitute shifts for us to work with. It’s always a struggle picking up assignments for one. Their app is so glitchy every time you sign in and you want to stay sign in the app, for some reason most of the time it just automatically logs you out and you have to get back in so by the time you login and get back in the assignment is already gone. That’s number one number two. The app be so laggy that it sends you notification saying that there will be substitute assignments you look you find one that you like you click on it. You press accept next thing you know a sub already got this absence, which is OK so then I refresh my page. The assignment is still there now what I know is that if I picked up the assignment already then it shouldn’t stay in the app for me when I be seeing some pick up assignments assignment must be staying there for like 30 minutes after the subs to pick it up. and there’s just so many more problems with this app, but these are the major problems that I have. I wish Kelly education would use a different app where I’m zoned for because this app I don’t know why this app even exist like I’ve worked for other substitute companies and they have better apps where you could just pick up the assignments you want without having to worry about the app glitching and all

5. 2/5So much potential but…. why?

   A) I constantly—*constantly*—have to log in. I can’t find any pattern to why. Sometimes it’ll stay logged in for months, and other times I get logged out multiple times a day. B) The app uses a tiny icon instead of just the times or “Full”/“Half”, and puts available jobs on the second (or third, if you have to log in again!) screen/tap. Why do I need to see the “add non-work day” and “scheduled jobs” screen before the screen most of us actually use the app for? C) Job notifications say “new jobs available.” Cool. So? Are they jobs I want? Are they full day? Half? By the time I’ve clicked through a bunch of screens, there either isn’t a job posted at all or it’s not one I want. There’s a reason people are willing to pay $60 apiece for alternative sub apps, and it’s absolutely baffling to me that this app has so stubbornly refused to implement any of them.
