1/5What is this app even for?
You can’t order ahead of time, which makes it basically pointless. Also it literally won’t work without location turned on. Why does an app to order food (not delivery) even need your location at all, much less all the time? Oh, and it also requests access to Bluetooth, which I can’t come up with a single reason why it would need. It doesn’t work with the drive through, so you’ll still need to go inside the store. It has an “I’m here” button, but it’s not smart enough to actually use those location permissions it asked you for, so you’ll need to go ahead and tap that once you get to the store anyway. Then you’ll stand around and wait for your order to be called same as always. Oh, and as a bonus, sometimes it gets your location wrong and then it literally won’t let you use the “I’m here” button and get the food that you already paid for. So to sum up: You have to physically be at the restaurant with location data turned on to even use the app. And also you have to go inside to get your food. It basically is just a dumber, slower, more annoying way to order food than simply going up to the counter. I can’t figure out why this app has so many good reviews. It seems almost all the positive ones are just people giving 5 stars because the food is good. The app is terrible... it really deserves negative stars. Maybe the good reviews are from people who feel their phone has too much battery life and are happy this app is eating it through GPS and Bluetooth usage.

1/5A review of the app, not the restaurant.
Most of these other reviews are rating the food, or service of the restaurant, which isn’t helpful to the developer at all. As someone who uses these types of apps to order food from various restaurants regularly, this one in is terrible. It makes you log in each time you use it, unlike some other apps. Logging in would normally not be a problem, but for some reason this Freddy’s app is particularly difficult to get in and start ordering. It feels like I’m logging into my bank account or something. The app doesn’t allow you to save your log in info to Apple’s keychain, so you basically have to use the “forgot password” option every time. And of course, the reset password email just doesn’t show up within a reasonable amount of time. So I end up either ordering something simple, and spending about half as much as I would have through the app, or just going somewhere else. If I choose ‘sign in with Apple’ everything works fine up to the point where I click continue, and nothing happens. I think there’s been 2 times in the past few years I’ve successfully placed an order through this app, both times I’ve had to create a completely new account. Why does it need my phone number and so much other irrelevant info? I’m just trying to buy a hamburger, not open a bank account.

1/5Useless app
Worthless app for a number of reasons. 1. It doesn’t retain my credentials with Apple, so I have to forget my password every time. And apparently this app uses the same URL as Mad Greens, so it impacts my MG app. After multiple requests for a password reset, I can finally get in. But since I know there’s going to be a delay, I have to get this app “ready for use” at least 30 min prior to ordering. 2. I use many other restaurant apps, and the ordering on this one is just goofy. It doesn’t allow you to customize with all menu items such as pink lemonade or adding extra pickles to the sandwich. It’s too difficult to redeem rewards. Last Saturday there was an onion ring reward. I added to the item to my cart and selected the reward, which is difficult to find by the reward by the way, yet the reward discount was not reflected on my final purchase. Fearing I would be charged for the item and have to call for an adjustment, I gave up and drove to the store to place my order. There’s no option to order for drive through pickup. Only in store pickup. Developer- There are MULTIPLE comments about these very issues. Many comments are more than a year old. Why haven’t you fixed them? Im a busy mom on the go, and this app’s lack of function is a large reason why I don’t frequent Freddy’s as often as I would. It’s too cumbersome of an app.

1/5Drive thru window
Placed an order for a burger and chocolate shake. She told me my order was 3.81 or so 3 something. Well I knew that was not correct. So I pay her at the window 10 something and she hands me my “shake”. Turns her back from the window but it was cracked and I tried to get her attention 3 times but I was ignored. Finally she turns sideways and I wave to her and she gives me that look like what do you want. So I ask her if this was a shake or just ice cream and she said it’s a shake. I said I’m asking because it’s so thick I can’t get it through the straw so I thought maybe they had given me ice cream. She mumbled something under her breath but I heard her say something about getting out of the window. I said I’m sorry I didn’t hear what you said. So she plainly says I’m just fixing to get you out of my window. So a young man comes up to the window and asks if he could help me and I told him I had ordered a shake and it was really too thick and I questioned her if it was just ice cream. He said he would fix it for me and he did. He waited until I tried it to make sure it was ok. It was and I thanked him. Then I told him that she needs to learn who the customer is. I drove off. Her attitude and rolling of her eyes is so tacky. I am not one that usually complains but she needs more training before waiting on customers. She is not helping your business win customers for sure.

1/5Terrible app
The app is terrible. I used to be a “Freddys only” type of fast food guy. I even met Mr Freddy himself many years ago in a Wichita location. The app and a poor store experience has ruined my experience with Freddys and I won’t ever go back. What the app did: I filled my bag full of food while at the gas station and tried checking out. Each time I would get to the credit card screen the app would bug out. I finally got the screen where I could submit my CC details and the app went right back to the Home Screen. My bag was still full and I didn’t see an order confirmation so I thought the order didn’t go through. I then decided to head to the drive through and place my order since I was headed out on a road trip. Get to the window and I get a notification that my order is almost ready….. the one that never went through on the app. So at this time I was charged $40 at the drive through and another $40 in the app. I asked if they could cancel one of the orders and was told no. Then I leave with too much food for my family to eat and they didn’t get either order right. Ice creams too small, missing drinks, wrong food. $80 bucks down the drain to start a road trip and I decided it was a sign that I should stop eating at Freddys and stop fast food. Good bye forever Freddys.

This is a horrible app! I have been trying to change my profile information to my new e-mail and it won't let me do it. In fact, the email area is shaded out and nothing can be added or changed there. I even tried uninstalling the old app on my phone and signing up for a new account. IT WON'T EVEN LET ME DO THAT! I hate your app & since I uninstalled it on my phone, I have probably lost all the rewards I had built up in my account. At this point, I am done wasting my time with you!
