1. 4/5Needs work on interface

   This is not the worse app but it can be infuriating many times. 1. Stop with the constant re-arrangement of items on the opening screen. “Previously watched”, “latest for you”, etc., keeps moving around. Most importantly, the app frequently resets so finding the show you just watched 5 minutes ago is infuriating. 2. My stuff frequently deletes favorites or adds things that I’ve never set as favorite. Seriously, there should just be a section where your favorites hows are arranged in order that is set by user and not messed with. When I click on it, it should show me all the latest episodes. 3. The “recorded episodes” section makes no sense. Some shows are recorded and others are not. How do you even manage the recordings? There is no “delete” for recordings, no “limit to last 5 recordings” or anything like that. Back to opening screen, I don’t want all that random videos set by FOX. I want the opening screen to either be “live” guide or “my stuff”. Hope the devs read this and make some major changes soon.

2. 3/5Pointless “customer service”

   Edit: will update my review - someone managed to identify the issue. It was a spelling error in my account details causing all the issues. I do hope that they fix the chat time out issue. The frustration would have been a lot less if the chat session stayed on to give the agent more time to work on the issue. Would give 0 stars if I could. signed up and paid for a subscription. After working for a while, the app and any other way to access my fox one account (eg browser) kept saying it couldn’t find my subscription. Trying to resolve this through customer service is pointless. The chatbot connects me to a live agent. These so called live agents keep signing off while they claim they are looking at the issue. This has happened seven times in a row so far. The best answer I have gotten so far is that “someone is looking at it” with no timeframe for a resolution. The charge shows up on my credit card. I am not sure how they lost the transaction. Seems there is no way to talk to someone who can actually look at and qualify the issue. No way to escalate either. 3. 4/5Good but issues

   I love fox but I have issues with several things. I have fox and friends set to record but it only lets me watch the first hour. I can not get the other two hours at all. Also, if I pause it and my screen saver goes then when I go back all I get is a black screen and I have to close the app completely and come back in. There is no option to watch where you left off. It’s only current or restart. Also, when I’m watching and I’m behind the live and the show is over then it will go back to where I started when I’m trying to fast forward. The app is good but could be so much better if the glitches are fixed.

4. 1/5Horrible functionality & nearly impossible to cancel subscription

   I started using this app during the NBA and MLB seasons and it was already functioning poorly both on my phone and on the TV. Stream crashes out every couple of minutes and it always restarts with the live closed captioning on. I turn it off, stream crashes again, CC restarts covering like 25% of the screen. This happens on both my phone and on the TV. It got to an unbearable level now that we’re in the FIFA World Cup. Missed like two awesome goals and several sick plays due to how horrible this app is. No, it’s not my internet connection. Literally every device and streaming service works perfectly with the unique exception of Fox One, so don’t even try to gaslight me. I switched to another sports streaming service and it works perfectly for half the price these guys charge. Not only that, but they make it incredibly difficult to cancel the subscription. I honestly thought I was going to have to call my bank to report them as fraudulent, till I finally figured it out. I will not be returning to Fox One anytime soon.

   I’ve been watching the World Cup through FOX One, and it’s safe to say I won’t be using this app after this weekend. I’ll be finding another way to watch the tournament. The experience has been frustrating from start to finish. The app crashes frequently, buffers at random times, and sometimes struggles to maintain a stable stream during live matches. What’s even more disappointing is how aggressively advertisements are pushed. Breaks seem longer than they need to be, and it often feels like coverage is being cut short just to squeeze in more commercials. I’m clearly not the only viewer experiencing these issues. Many users have reported the same problems: crashes, freezing streams, playback errors, buffering, and constant interruptions. Some viewers have even complained about missing portions of live action because the broadcast stayed in commercials for too long. This is the biggest sporting event in the world, and fans should be able to focus on the matches instead of wondering whether the app will crash again or if another ad break is coming. FOX One had a great opportunity to deliver a premium World Cup experience, but instead it feels like maximizing ad revenue has become a higher priority than providing a reliable viewing experience. For a service responsible for broadcasting the World Cup, the performance is simply unacceptable. I expected better.
