1. 5/5Google form experience/suggestion for Google

   I like the app but for the cost seems inflated. Everyone knows Google is using its brand and the lifetime price to squeeze all the worth it can out of its forms. If they were smart they would create a creator subscription model and in my opinion instead of the traditional pyramid structure they have the value be built into an etf or transaction backed crypto coin that builds value the more transactions it processes and or the more creators that create through their platform building our processes since they already have the market share would solidify their position long term since ai eliminates their ability to maintain brand dominance on the ever changing economic tech landscape. Focus on extreme interface changes . Simplify layout to necessities only as the beginning of everyones learning experience and exposure. Spend less time just rolling features out as soon as the LLM become available to compete and think long term here. Focus & foster the experience being entirely about creation . We collectively need to make every individual a creator in order to create a new economic structure to replace the old one. In the near future ahead we have a huge decision to make collectively being do we want the new economy to be a purely consumer economy or do we want a creator economy?

2. 5/5Highly upset

   I updated my form question and after doing so I lost all of my contacts and valuable information for my clients. Now, I’m being told there is no way to retrieve the information. Also, there is no way to copy the form response in the app. I have to either screenshot and copy or manually type information. If it wasn’t for this, I’d love the app, but now that I can’t get assistance in retrieving information, I’m looking for another way to track client information. Upset iOS user

3. 1/5Doesn’t really work

   Sometimes people can fill it out, sometimes they can’t. Or sometimes they can fill it out but you can’t see the responses. I hit “accept responses” but it seems that every time I go to check it again it’s always flipped the other way even though I JUST turned it on. I’ve used Google forms in the past to plan for availability for some people, until now when I was relying on it to plan with a group about 35. Not a single person can fill it out. I’ve tried everything from switching accounts to sending in different forms clicking button and switches. Nothing works. It has a huge potential yet it’s way too unreliable for it to actually work. Oh also EVERY step of the way you’ll be met with a pop up to “buy the premium”. And you have to wait for the x to pop up which after seeing the screen for the 26th time really adds up. Why would I pay $50 for something I use twice a year. Would not recommend.

4. 1/5Google Docs knock off

   Horrible app do not fall for it even though you may type in Google Docs, this is the first app that appears and actually says document for Google, but come to find out that it is not a Google product and it will just automatically charge you a monthly fee which Google Docs is free. It doesn’t even work correctly on the iPhone to me it’s a knock off word play scam and they should not be allowed to use the Google name at all in the title or description. It’s meant to be deceptive. false advertising period !!! Most extensions are free if you have an account some are paid for but this is not created by Google. I checked the company out and it doesn’t even have a name you can read unless you read Chinese it was purposely creating and designed to catfish people into thinking it’s the legit Google Docs, don’t fall for it scroll further down find the real deal . You live you learn hope this helps someone not loose $50

5. 3/5Stick with the laptop

   The forms app for Google Docs is functional, but annoying. I have used it on both my iPhone and iPad. Can I create a form? Yes. Can it do all of the things that I can do on my Mac? No, at least not without payment, which it reminds you of EVERY SINGLE TIME you close and reopen it regardless of how long you’ve been away. Let me shorten the link, for crying out loud! The real stinker is that when I add a question the entire screen flips from landscape to portrait and then back again. I’m getting vertigo just thinking about it. I don’t know why Google and Apple can’t get along, but I wish that they would sort out their differences and model civility in this crazy, divided world that we live in. We would all be better for it and their pockets would still be plenty full.
