1. 1/5Terrible - Missing Activation Process

   After months of reviews expressing this, you would think you would address the issue. I appreciate what one person recently said about needing to contact the company first.... the problem is that you just have to figure that out on your own. Where’s your process to sign up? Who does that these days? I went to the website, and it says for agents to subscribe, click here; then it directs you to a non-functioning page that is for “SignNow” document signing app. Seriously?! This app was recommended to us in a class. This is really great, but if you can’t get it together with the simple process of activating it, it makes one wonder just how accurate and functional the app is once you do get access to it.

2. 5/5REALTOR & LIFE APP!

   I love FOREWARN. I’m so grateful our RE/MAX ONE office pays for us to have it. We’re part of “Gold Nation” and we’re the largest RE/MAX in the world. But smaller organizations pay for it, as well. Fabulous tool to “take the temperature” about the character of a person you’re about to meet or potentially be alone with. Not only for safety reasons but it also can give you an idea/insight into their liens(tax or other), criminal records, correct and incorrect name spellings, property address of current and prior ownership and current address. You often can see history of cell and home numbers and age so you have an idea if you are working with an adult, etc… It is limited information but again, this is a safety tool. Plus, we all don’t want to waste our time dealing with someone that is there to waste ours(at the very least). The records go far back in history and I always look at the entire picture so even if someone has bankruptcy or minor criminal offenses, it is not my final decision maker. It is a tool and forewarns me as part of my decisions or information. If they are always late paying taxes or carry liens, can they qualify for a mortgage? Maybe. But if they are late consistently or show a pattern, I know what I have to stay ahead of to reduce how their behavior affects my business with them. I appreciate having the information and use Forewarn multiple times a day. Check with your organization to see if it’s available or if they will purchase for the group. I believe it is a responsibility of an owner to provide tools but it is my responsibility to use them. Thank you!

3. 5/5Please Use, It May have Saved Me!

   I'm a realtor and I found out that forewarn was provided to us through our organization. On my way to an appointment I made to show some property I decided to put the number of the person who I was meeting in the app. I was surprised to find out that this person had been convicted of kidnapping. Also many other gun charges and things I wouldn't have wanted to run into. Now I understand that a charge can cover an umbrella of things however I don't want to be involved with anything associated with kidnapping. Im truly thankful that I was able to know this information before I was possibly in a position that I couldn't get out of. If you haven't downloaded please do. You can use number, name, any info you may know. It may help.

4. 5/5Update sort of ruined it

   The newest update UI is brutally terrible. The small changes they made was good but now the missing match keys dont show so everything that pops up as a potential match looks fully valid even if birthday doesnt check out because it doesnt show whether a key matches or not it just shows matched keys which is brutal. I liked the colored tabs too when it was green for fully clean record and yellow for warning. The old version was far superior for screenshotting and using as background check for records on file. This version is nearly impossible to screenshot full record with names. Not sure who’s deciding the UI but it should go back to where it was for sure.

5. 5/5absolutely in valuable one of the top five apps on my phone that I use every single day

   This is really great because as realtors, we get so many calls that are Spam and people trying to sell us junk and that are using Google phone numbers, etc. this allows me to cut right through that and see if the person is the person they say they are and also for safety reasons to make sure that you don’t put yourself in any dangerous position by taking someone to go see a home by yourself that you don’t know and that has a criminal record
