   I watch cycling on flow sports. I wish there were two changes that they would make to the app: 1. I wish I could turn my phone off but leave the audio going. Bike races are pretty long so I like to do other stuff while listening in the background. Instead, I have to leave it running in my pocket. Which means it uses a battery and occasionally it accidentally gets an input that stops the broadcast if I accidentally hit the phone while it’s In my pocket. 2. Four races that go on for a week or longer, it would be great to see the earlier stages under the replay section. As it is, you have to go into the race and sometimes you see something later on that you didn’t want to know yet. I never watch races live, again because they’re long and also because of the times when they air.

2. 1/5ADS on PAID app!?! So many ads during gameplay :(

   I subscribed to FloSports so I could watch my child’s college games but instead I’m watching 1-3 ads every 3 minutes. Unbelievable! I’ve missed gameplay because of ADS on a PAID app? The scoreboard on the app stinks, too. So far the score has been posted incorrectly multiple times throughout the game, no indication of balls and strikes and the inning count lags behind what is actually happening on the field. Because there is only one camera behind home plate it is impossible to see the actual scoreboard on the field or the foul posts on the sides. All in all a disappointment. FloSports should be ashamed but they have a captive audience so why should they care, right? They could provide better scorekeeping, keep ads to the beginning or end of the broadcast (or totally do away with them on their paid app) so as not to interfere with gameplay. But they don’t. I was excited to be able to watch the games when I couldn’t make it to the field but now I’m just frustrated and wishing I hadn’t given them a single dime. I don’t believe they care about sports. They do care about taking your money and screw you if you don’t like their poor service.

3. 1/5Too many commercials and technical difficulties

   2026 review thus far- still terrible. $150, and now unlike last year, only ONE of us can watch at a time. My husband and I can’t watch from different places? Same household, same bank account, same phone account etc. That’s crazy. You want $300 for 2 accounts so we can both watch when 1 of us isn’t home? Still too many commercials! Anytime I leave the screen for any reason and come back, I need to watch 2 more commercials? Also, is SUPER glitchy. Always seems to happen at an intense moment of the game too. Go figure. And who is supposed to be doing the scoreboard? I wish we had another option to watch my daughter’s games. Because this app is terrible. 2025 review-Paid $150 for the year and STILL have commercials? Ridiculous! And the commercials come on in the middle of an at bat?!?!? Constantly has technical difficulties, requiring us to exit app and go back in, then watch more commercials before getting us back to the game! Unfortunately it’s the only way to watch my daughter’s college games.

   We use this to watch a D3 school we’re interested in - the conference appears to have a contract with Flo. For the significant subscription fee, the production quality is low. They often use an automated camera mounted on the gym wall which doesn’t always follow the action. Worse is the commentary. There’s at least 1 and sometimes both commentators are obvious amateurs; the “color” person often has little to say, or not much of value. And then the commentators don’t know if they’re live on air or not during timeouts so we hear their chitchat or production logistics - like when the color wasn’t sure if she was doing a good job and play by play was encouraging her. That’s all somewhat understandable if it’s free…but I am paying. I’d rather watch like last year - a livestream with the audio piped in from the local radio announcers - at least they know the team & sport and are professional experienced broadcasters.

5. 1/5App acts like it needs an update, but never does

   Let me preface this by saying, I’ve written 1 review in the almost 15 years I’ve used the App Store. It also needs to be said that I love FloSports as a company, even more so with the way they support Dirt Track racing. This is a review on the app however , not of Flo in general. I got so tired of the buffering, and resetting the app as well as my phone, that I turned off my High-Limit stream to finally make this review. I thought DirtVision was bad, but every single race I try to stream has technical difficulties. Buffers for way more time than the video plays live, which results in huge portions of missed content. It doesn’t matter if I’m using WiFi or my unlimited high-speed data (At&T). They do a good job with replays, but I paid $160+ to watch the event live; not waiting for it to load even the event has ended. If they could fix the never-ending buffering, it would instantly be a 3.5-4.5 star review. The only reason I even gave it 2 stars, is because I like Flo & they support Sprint Car racing in an amazing way. Fix dat app doe!

   update: watched some more since I was stuck paying for the month. This is the most sexist broadcast. It is all focused on the men and the women seem to be barely a side thought. Every event start is 100% the men and finish is 90% mem. I have gone from waste of money to furious at the disrespect to the women. Shame on you FloElite! They dont really post what they claim. You pay for it thinking you will get decent coverage and it ends up being just some sports radio style. Not worth the money.
