1. 1/5Terrible Customer Service

   Don’t believe it when a venue has a sign out saying they are a “Live Barn” venue. I signed up for the service to watch my daughter swim while away on a business trip and the meet was not streamed. I contacted customer service and they said to check with the venue and the venue told me to check with Live Barn. It was a two day meet so I was hopeful it would stream the next day but it didn’t. During my emails with Customer Service I told them this was the only reason I signed up for the service but they didn’t care and didn’t offer a refund. I thought my contact with this terrible company was over and then they charged my credit card again a month later for the service. I contacted Customer Service and they said I had not canceled properly the first time and they would not refund or prorate me any money and proceeded to send me pages and screenshots of legal agreements and terms. This is clearly not a company who prioritizes customers; their only goal is to get your credit card # so they can keep charging it regardless of whether you can use their service.

2. 1/5Coin toss if you can actually see games

   For hockey. Frequent issues trying to watch games both live and video on demand. If you contact customer service they just blame the local rink or bandwidth of the local rink. One rink I frequent had the camera bumped so only 4/5 of the ice was viewable, I made them aware and customer support took the entire camera offline for over a week until someone could fix it. When I contacted them to at least keep the video on waiting for the tech, because 4/5 of the ice was better than nothing, they told me they can’t do that. This is clearly a company that had rapid expansion that started off well but in their maturity is operating skeleton crew and as a cash cow. They have control over most rinks, which could be good in terms of being able to watch most rinks but is bad because if there is an issue or quality they can get away with doing nothing. Also for hockey the auto tracking is frequently behind the play, the movement could be optimized to speed up to actually see the shot on net in the offensive zone.

   I was excited to see this feature at our soccer facility so I signed up. I wanted to share with family across the US. After signing up, I then discovered the field my son plays on does not have cameras installed while all the other fields do. After contacting the company to cancel, I was insulted by the staff, stating that I couldn’t watch because there was no activity on that field. I spoke with my facility and they told me no cameras were installed on the smaller field, and the facility as asked multiple times for them to be installed. So that was not the issue like the company claimed. I requested a refund since I can’t watch my kid- whole reason for signing up, and I was told that wasn’t possible. This company stole my money, refused to refund it, and refuses to work with the facility to allow access. Not to mention the fields are the app are incorrectly labeled and that’s another thing they refuse to fix. Such a shame. This feature would be an awesome addition for soccer, but the company can’t get their act together. Huge disappointment.

   We signed up for the basic subscription to watch one of my son’s games. It was $23 and when we went to watch the camera was down. Come to find out it had been down for around 10 days. Since we literally signed out to watch one game, I requested a refund. Was met with Willingness to cancel my recurring subscription, but not refund the month we had paid for. We had planned on using this app for future leagues and games to watch the games that we will miss because they are too late in the night. I replied and reiterated that we purchased the subscription to watch one game. Asked for a refund again. Was met with “our policy is to not refund.” And it’s listed on our app/website. If you subscribe make sure the camera you need to access is up and running. Also, don’t expect a refund of something goes wrong. Once you pay you are committed for that month. Great way to keep the funds from short term subscribers that might request a refund after watching a game, but unfortunately might upset the people who are honestly having difficulties and could potentially be long-term subscribers.

5. 1/5Poor service all around

   I paid almost $22 to watch my spouse for the weekend. I was unable to watch 6 of his 7 games because several of the cameras that were supposed to be operable weren’t for the entirety of the event (Thursday- Sunday). I originally reached out asking if they were able to fix the camera or offer a discount if I wasn’t able to view. They have some basic response about a technical issue. I continued to follow up since the only game I was able to watch was the first one and was told no updates are available. At that point I asked for a refund, and no longer logged in or used the app. I was ignored and after waiting several days I followed up and was told they are unable to issue a refund but will credit the account as a goodwill gesture. I won’t be using the app again. I emailed them within hours of paying for the subscription so I wasn’t trying to take advantage. It’s just poor business practice. Steer clear if you can, it’s not worth it.
