1. 4/5Love the journaling aspects

   I love how easy it is to add photos from any photo folder on my iPhone and the interactive map. We haven’t tried the printed books yet, but it sounds amazing. Our family and friends have found it hard to see our travel log and the settings can be a little confusing so we only have one family follower who has been able to figure it out, so we keep a separate shared iCloud folder for everyone else. We also had a friend who was added to someone else’s trip (mistakenly) and because we followed her there was no way to unfollow that particular random person’s trip to Germany 🤪… so that was frustrating for a bit. Otherwise it’s great! I especially like that I can add photos as a draft even when we have a poor signal and add text and upload them later. ❤️

2. 5/5Fantastic trip journal

   Not only have I use this app on numerous trips, but a number of friends have adopted it as well. What is so cool is that you can do a trip with a beginning date and the ending date and every day of the trip you can post 10 photos and two videos. The top shows your progress on your journey and where you’ve been. You control the friends that will follow you and be able to read your journal and see your photos. Penguins is a great way to remember where you were, what you saw, who you met, and what you ate. Nothing is more frustrating and getting home and than having a mishmash of pictures which are hard to assemble chronologically. It’s also frustrating when you go to restaurants and take beautiful photos and then forget what restaurant it was and which day you ate there. As an added bonus, if you decide to make a picture book of your journal, it’s never easy to do.

   On a river cruise in 2022 we met a couple who told us about Find Penguins. We were intrigued. We started following them on the app and loved seeing our trip through their eyes! We could hardly wait for our next trip to try it out. Since then we have used Find Penguins to document and share our travels with friends and family over 60,000 miles. We have printed 5 travel books so far, and look forward to many more. With these books we are able to remember and relive the amazing places and people we encounter on our journeys. It has enriched our travel. We are so grateful to Find Penguins! Thank you!

4. 5/5FindPenguins: The Best of the Best

   My wife and I have been serious travelers for 15 years now. We have experimented with a number of different application applications for recording our journeys. None comes close to the features offered by FindPenguins. All of my blogs are kept in chronological order. Maps track and trace the course of our journeys. I am given a place where I can include private comments. And the photos attached to each entry are wonderful for bringing back happy memories. Every entry has always kept in chronological and geographical order, and there is never any question about where we were or what we did. FindPenguins is the best.

5. 3/5Easy to Use, But Blah Output

   The app was pretty easy to use, but when it comes to sharing a video, there 2 big negatives: no control of music used and no slideshow of photos. The semi-flyover map showing where you went is pretty cool, but I really would have liked for it to zoom in on the footprints, and show off the photos I meticulously spent time choosing and uploading, and I would very much like to choose the music myself. One other technical point: when we upload the photos, it gives us a chance to use the photo and location from the photos, but if we discover that we unintentionally added a photo, and remove that photo, it doesn’t offer to adjust based on the remaining photos. So, you end up with a footprint out of chronological order, and in the wrong location. The only way to fix it is to manually adjust the footprint timestamp.

   It's really great but would be cool if we could add our hotel we stay at so it's seen on the map, especially for organisational purposes. Also, things like Flight Info, would be really nice to have in one place.

   This is a terrible app. I can't get into it to see my sister's trip. I couldn't to see her trip previous. I'm trying to set up a profile for myself which has been very difficult and I can't complete. I wouldn't ever use it for myself
