  1. 3/5App glitches frequently

First off, I absolutely LOVE the concept of this app. It helps me to read along while hearing the names and words pronounced correctly. However, lately, especially this morning, I’ve been unable to finish my plan for the day due to the app not opening. It opened for a little while then stopped. Now I can’t get it to open back up. I’ve tried restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail. Now I’m getting a server error after waiting for the app to properly load. When that gets fixed, I’ll change my review to 5 stars. This app has been a major part in me reading the Bible daily. Thank you for this wonderful resource!

  2. 4/5Glitchy

I love the concept of this app and use it daily. There are some kinks to be worked out. It doesn’t always open and I have to play games to get it to open and work. In the See section, the infographics are difficult to use, in that when you tap onto an image for information the information does not open to full screen. You are trying to scroll on the bottom 1/3 of your screen which repeatedly activates the top of the screen to be pulled down on an iPhone. I don’t know what this accessibility feature is called, where the top part of the screen is pulled down to the middle of the phone for one handed access. It would be better if infographics information could be opened to full screen. Other than that, this app is GREAT. I love having all these study tools at my fingertips!

  3. 5/5Next Level

This is such an impressive and immersive tool! It is user friendly and fun! I give it give because it’s so smooth and full of material my only concern is the furtherance of this app. I invested in this bible and downloaded the app because I believe this could be a big part of the future in study immersion. I would like to see a home page to the app and also more tools and studies such as notes or devotions. I don’t have any complaints but I hope this doesn’t get thrown in the back burner. I’m believing that this network of bibles and this app and company will expand and grow there immersion and study experience.

  4. 4/5Great app, with room for improvement

I really like this app so far. The interactive maps and illustrations are great, and I’ve found many that are also in the NLT Illustrated Study Bible, which is what I was hoping for. My only concern is that the app seems limited. Simplicity is nice. However, I hope that future updates will be just that. Otherwise, there’d be a missed opportunity. The option to search for themes or maps instead of having to scroll through the chapters would great. The option for side by side comparison of the maps and illustrations would help as well. More quality updates would really push this app to its full potential.

  5. 4/5Upgrade to Apple Pencil integration please

If Tyndall’s Filament App included integration with Apple Pencil (AP) the app would overtake the Bible app category IMO. I generally use Olive Tree Bible app but would prefer integration with AP which Olive Tree does not seem interested in doing. Whichever Bible app adds AP integration first would own the Bible app business. I expect with all the upgrades people want in future Filament updates I can see Tyndall charging for the app or like Olive Tree you would have to purchase resources either from the Tyndall store or pay a subscription fee for using app. I would pay for AP integration bc I an avid note taker, but not an avid typist. This app is very nice as is, but could be the cutting edge leader in near future.
