5/5Absolute game changer.
This is the only way to design RSS, and I don’t mean that lightly. I literally cannot go back to any other RSS reader. Hell, I can’t even go back to other news aggregators. Everything just falls short. This app is not only beautifully designed (total eye candy) but it is also extremely easy to use. It is exactly the perfect way to get younger people like me off of social media and reading the actual news again. THIS is the future of RSS. My only feedback would probably be a button to clear cache, maybe a read-aloud feature, and maybe some kind of notifications as well, reminding one to read or maybe just keeping up to date with concurrent news or new posts from feeds you follow. They aren’t points of immediate concern, but could make the app better. 10/10 app. Can no longer live without it as long as I have an iPhone.

5/5I’m blown away.
The fact that I had to dig through menus to figure out how to support this app developer tells you all you need to know about their work. I could be mistaken, but an app this well-designed and free can only be a passion project; a labor of love. Perhaps the developer, too, is frustrated with the existing offerings for this particular purpose, built an app for themselves and decided to share it with the world. Extraordinary effort at a time when much worse online services will nickle and dime you for the privilege of frustrating you. This app, on the other hand, seems to be made with true empathy for the user without asking for anything in return. It’s truly hard to believe. I keep waiting for that pop-up to tell me I reached the limit, pay up or beat it. Massive thanks to this dev, what a legend.

5/5BEST RSS READER!!!!
I am absolutely obsessed with Feeeed. It is one of the most beautifully designed and genuinely useful iOS apps I’ve ever used! I open it every single day, and it’s become an essential part of how I stay informed and organized. The Daily Briefing feature is pure genius. It is so intuitive int he way that it always seems to show me EXACTLY the kind of content I am most interested in while also being quick, smart and presenting everything so elegantly. What really stands out is how smooth everything feels. The interface is minimal yet powerful, and it’s obvious the developer poured a ton of care into the details.

5/5Thank you for the break from toxic social media
I've been looking for somewhere to still stay up to date on the latest news and also enjoy some of my fave topics without the constant rage baiting and bots of social media. I was tired of seeing news sprinkled in amongst the opinions of some of the least brightest people in the world and some of them aren't even people! This app is SUCH a breath of fresh air. I was out going to use it until I could start getting print newspapers and magazines but I'm definitely going to use it even after doing that. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

5/5Great for social media detox
This app is great for staying connected to the internet without social media. My fav feature is def that the feed eventually ends when you run out of stories to read (imagine that!) so you can just close the app and get off your phone. Otherwise, the UX feels very polished and intuitive. Feed discovery and general RSS aggregation works well, and the AI article summarizer helps me get a feel for whether i actually want to invest time to read an article (though it’s not great for actually consuming the articles, hallucinations abound like any GenAI).

Now there’s a new offline feed that appears whenever you’re out of service. If you want, feeeed can download 75 new stories every day, so you’re never stranded with nothing to read. Or do a one-time download before a big trip. Go to “Offline” in the “All” tab to get started. Additional bug fixes!

There have been some service changes so the feeds are not quite as nice anyway, but at least they work again! - You can now paste threads and mastodon URLs into the search box to subscribe to them using the nice new ActivityPub support - Now you can share photo flashbacks - Better handling of feeds with incorrectly dated items - I know notifications have been flaky recently — they should be better now!

New icon! Plus typography and color improvements. Native view for Reddit comments and videos -- much smoother and easier to view! Translation: translate AI summaries into the language of your choice; quick access to Google Translate for translating full articles via the Share menu. Chronological but unviewed feed: A new option for how to sort your feed. It's like a chronological list, but only shows unseen stuff. Find it in Settings. New source 'feeeed updates' to keep tabs on what's new in the app.

There’s no built-in podcast player, but you can see what’s new and tap to open in another app - Now a publication’s icon appears next to its name in the feed, if available - If you use List mode, you can now see a story’s date in the feed - You can now hide a subscription from the main feed; it’ll still appear in All, and folders. Visit a subscription’s page and click the (…) icon. - Better accessibility: reader view now respects dynamic type sizes. - Auto dark mode: when viewing light websites in dark mode, we’ll automatically turn them into dark mode. It’s not perfect but it’s nice! "I wish my phone sent me more notifications in the middle of my day!" — some of you, apparently. By popular request, you can now sign up for PUSH NOTIFICATIONS when your favorite feeds update. Completely optional, of course. Sign up for notifications when subscribing to a source, or tap the source's name and press the Bell icon. Not supported for all kinds of feeds. (For example: you can't sign up for notifications foremail newsletters because your email data never leaves your own phone.)
