1. 5/5Original. Made me think. Must have travel app of the year.

   Faye Travel App is different. Excellent but different. The team and how they communicate is not only caring and compassionate but also well written. This is not a paid review or sponsored post. I have used this app as a first time user for a personal trip, when in the famous Langtang Valley (netflix made a documentary of the famous 2015 earthquake, and it is shared by the mt everest base hikers that the only signal that worked was a GPS Satellite phone) and when being in contact with Faye the moment of arrival that I was injured, with no cell phone signal (local Nepali and international sim did not work) the app did load (even offline) and I was able to write and document my emergency and the messages and they sent went being connected to wifi. Most apps that I use do not load past the home interface so this to me was a surprise and I am thankful to have been in 24/7 contact with someone on the Faye team.

   I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and support I received from Faye Travel Insurance during one of the most difficult experiences of my life. While traveling in a remote area of Egypt, I suffered a devastating fall from a high ledge that resulted in serious injuries requiring spinal surgery, as well as surgeries to my lower leg and foot. The logistics alone of handling a medical emergency in a remote foreign location are overwhelming to even imagine — but Faye immediately stepped in and took charge with professionalism, compassion, and extraordinary efficiency. What impressed me most was not just that they “covered” the situation, but how deeply they cared about my wellbeing every step of the way. They even arranged for a doctor to travel from Cairo to personally escort me back to Cairo safely, where I remained for the next three weeks recovering before they coordinated my return home. Throughout the entire ordeal, I felt supported, protected, and genuinely cared for. Every moving part (medical coordination, transportation, communication, logistics) was handled with remarkable attention and humanity. When people hear the story of my “adventure,” I always make a point to emphasize my gratitude to Faye. In a moment of true crisis, they provided what felt like premium, world-class care, and I honestly do not know what I would have done without them. I would recommend Faye Travel Insurance without hesitation.

3. 5/5Very well designed app!

   I recently started using FAYE for travel insurance and was delighted to find a very well-designed, easy to use mobile app. As a software engineer, I really appreciate the look, feel, and usability of this app. Most of all, I really like the simplicity and the aesthetics that went into the UI design. The app just flows, and it’s easy to see a lot of hard work and collaboration between developers and users went into it. As far as the insurance product itself, although I haven’t had the need to file a claim yet, it comes highly recommended and has a lot of good reviews from different sources. The coverages are perfect for my travel needs. My sign-up experience was very, easy, very quick, and surprisingly, very affordable! The app lends itself to easily signing up for future policy purchases whenever I travel internationally. Overall, very nice job on both the product and the app!

4. 5/5Great travel insurance

   I purchase travel insurance for international trips, and especially for those with an activity component. My Fora Travel adviser suggested Faye as a travel insurance vendor. The app was so easy to use, and tracked my flights and gave me gate updates. When my bag was delayed by two days, I could quickly file a claim and easily email and upload the needed documents from my phone. Because my ski bag was delayed, I was freaking out a bit, but I remembered that this insurance would help me rent or purchase any gear I needed to enjoy my vacation as planned. Luckily the bag arrived before I hit the slopes! The ease of use, transparent resolution of my claim, and speedy reimbursement was great. I would have preferred to not need to use my insurance benefits at all, but I feel fortunate that the first time I’ve ever had to make a claim it was with such a high-quality partner. Thanks, Faye.

5. 1/5False urgent messages about flight and gate change

   The day before I left Australia ( back to USA) I started receiving urgent message about day and time change of my flight . It indicated that my flight would be delayed one day and at different time, which caused grave inconvenience. I contacted the airline company directly to confirm it but I was told nothing was changed and the flight schedule would remain as scheduled. I also contacted Faye but did not receive any clear answer via chat agent , called Zoey . She only said she would be investigating , assuming it was a technical glitch and would come back to me with an answer but it never happened . I never received any serious response. Even on the actual flight day , I kept receiving urgent messages regarding gate changes from Faye . At that point, I did not take any message from Faye seriously. I will not recommend anyone to use the service from this company called “ Faye “, as there are many other reliable and professional businesses that offer much sincere and reliable travel insurance services. Who needs to receive and get stressed out over such false and very urgent messages.
