   First time using travel insurance and I think travel insurance is worth it but I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. They do have a 24/7 chat and phone. The phone is a real person, but the chat feels very AI like. You get told all these things like we will contact someone for you and nothing happens. Super awful communication. Had to message them 5 or 6 times over the course of a month and a half. The minute I bring up legal action for insurance fraud, something happens. I did get reimbursed for a medical trip while traveling. But the time I spent chasing them and not once did they ever reach back to me, a shame. I don’t write app reviews but I am writing one today to strongly strongly advise you to look somewhere else. App criticism from an iOS developer: The chat is terrible, uploading documents is buggy, screen content is poorly optimized for small devices, message notifications work half the time. wallet feature is solid, too bad you have to jump through 100 hoops to get paid. invest more in your app please

2. 1/5False urgent messages about flight and gate change

   The day before I left Australia ( back to USA) I started receiving urgent message about day and time change of my flight . It indicated that my flight would be delayed one day and at different time, which caused grave inconvenience. I contacted the airline company directly to confirm it but I was told nothing was changed and the flight schedule would remain as scheduled. I also contacted Faye but did not receive any clear answer via chat agent , called Zoey . She only said she would be investigating , assuming it was a technical glitch and would come back to me with an answer but it never happened . I never received any serious response. Even on the actual flight day , I kept receiving urgent messages regarding gate changes from Faye . At that point, I did not take any message from Faye seriously. I will not recommend anyone to use the service from this company called “ Faye “, as there are many other reliable and professional businesses that offer much sincere and reliable travel insurance services. Who needs to receive and get stressed out over such false and very urgent messages.

   Very poor communication. I submitted a claim which I didn’t have much faith it would be covered. We were robbed while overseas. Regardless, we submitted a claim with police records. After a few days it stated our claim was under review and we should be notified within a few days of the status of claim. After a couple weeks of waiting, we reached out to Faye to get an update. After multiple times of being told we would hear back within 48 hours that never occurred. Finally after a month from the submission date, I reached out to final time it was told somebody would get back to me as soon as possible. Then there was an instant denial of the claim. I do not recommend this company due to the lack of clarity, communication, and follow up on claims. Once again, this review is not based on if my claim was approved or denied. If you use them, expect to be persistent to have any communication and to wait for over a month for your claim to either be approved or denied

4. 4/5Great Features; Frustrating Login

   I bought travel insurance through Faye and downloaded the app to manage my policy. When I tried to log in, it kept taking me through the quote process, even though I had already purchased coverage. After some trial and error, I realized I had used a different email address when buying the policy, and the app didn’t recognize me—there was no clear message to help with this, which made the experience confusing. That said, once I logged in with the correct email, the app was smooth, clear, and easy to use. I haven’t traveled yet, but I really like the ability to add my flight and passport details—super helpful for staying organized. Just wish the login flow were a bit more intuitive.

5. 5/5Very well designed app!

   I recently started using FAYE for travel insurance and was delighted to find a very well-designed, easy to use mobile app. As a software engineer, I really appreciate the look, feel, and usability of this app. Most of all, I really like the simplicity and the aesthetics that went into the UI design. The app just flows, and it’s easy to see a lot of hard work and collaboration between developers and users went into it. As far as the insurance product itself, although I haven’t had the need to file a claim yet, it comes highly recommended and has a lot of good reviews from different sources. The coverages are perfect for my travel needs. My sign-up experience was very, easy, very quick, and surprisingly, very affordable! The app lends itself to easily signing up for future policy purchases whenever I travel internationally. Overall, very nice job on both the product and the app!
