  1. 5/5A True Sense of Security

As cyber crime has intensified through the years, Lookout has been on my devices as my own little Jedi Warrior. I, originally, signed on because, let’s face it, I‘m a bit of a flake and kept “misplacing” my cellphone. At one point, we were in Louisville, KY and had gone out to dinner. In getting back into the car, my cellphone slipped out of my pocket. When we got to our motel, I realized that I did not have my phone. ( I hit my panic button because my husband was in University of Kentucky Hospital’s CCU and that was the number that their staff had to reach me ). I went on the Lookout website using my Son-in-law’s cellphone and they not only located my phone, they locked it down so that nobody could use it. Next day, when the restaurant opened, we retrieved my phone. Someone on their Wait Staff had found it lying in a puddle of water in their parking lot and, immediately, returned to the restaurant that was closed and placed it in a plastic baggie filled with rice. Thanks to Lookout and an honest young waitress, my phone and I became one again. I have counted on Lookout to locate my “lost” ( I prefer to think of it as “temporarily misplaced “) cellphone numerous times throughout the years that we have been BFFs.

  2. 5/5Lookouts got your back!!!

I thought I was losing my mind...literally. Everything they tell you online when your phone is being hacked is true but these things weren’t happening to me. Started with a specific app flashing, shutting off, needing password...then it stopped once I changed my password and logged out. First tell tell...didn’t happen again but for a year I become more aware at watching my device and app security and started noticing devices logged into my accounts..let me to my credit report and bam...my private data, email addresses, phone number, everything breached. Contacted Sprint, my mobile carrier who hooked me up with Lookout. Within 24 hours my identity lit up like a Christmas tree. Not only did they have more hits than my credit reports did..they had more details on all sources down to details that led me to exactly who was involved and that person was at one time very close. While it wasn’t a surprise I was definitely violated by someone I considered a protector at one point in my life. People change and people are either good or bad but good people do bad things sometimes and sometimes good people just make mistakes. I forgive that person but the judge won’t be so forgiving and I hope they learn from it. Identity theft, hacking, monitoring, and stalking are very real. Being a victim not only did I think I was losing my mind, some of the closest people I called friends thought I was losing my mind too. Point being, not so crazy after all and was dedicated to bring whoever down for what they’ve done. Thank you Lookout for restoring my sanity, helping me catch the perp, and giving me my power back!!! ps..my friends that distanced themselves can stay right where they went. Lookout should have an “unintentional” feature where customers can add the negative but beneficial outcomes like this..lol!!!

  3. 2/5Breach of lookout 11:17/22

Concerned about personal information and I just from my account for all users account being breached and look up catching the breach time to stop it before thousand so he was information was breached and is now up for sale on the dark web and other locations. What is look up going to do about this breach?Like other companies that are beach I feel like they should offer more protection such as a premium packages or more for free to keep the customer satisfied and no that with this extra protection lookout Will be able to monitor our accounts more closely. Why they have not offered this protection as soon as theyFind out about the breach is beyond me, all companies that have been breached have offered their customers a layer of extra protection at no cost of the customer for at least 2 to 3 years and sometimes even longer. I feel that lookout A company that was trusted by millions of people should already be offering us the extra protection of the premium packages without any additional charge for at least three years. I am seriously thinking of just closing my account and leaving the Lookout program that I thought was very very secure and not come to find out that they were reached. This is terrible but look at us only notifying us today on 26 November 2022 when this bridge took place on November 16 of 2022 all customer shouldn’t have been notified immediately and the extra steps to secure account should’ve been taken immediately. I still await an answer from Roca as to how they were going to protect our information and if they will offer extra services to make sure our information is safe.I am very dissatisfied and angry at outlook for letting this happen

  4. 5/5Lookout app

This FREE app is indeed completely free of charge with absolutely no hidden fees. The app does offer an upgraded version for a small fee if your not content with the free, basic service but the basic service (which is FREE) has always served me well. This app is excellent in my opinion, it’s worked great for me and my iPhone. Its nice knowing I’m being protected while I’m surfing the internet and it’s especially comforting knowing that it’s completely free of charge because like so many, I simply can’t afford another monthly bill added to my monthly expenses. I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone. It’s an excellent peace of mind knowing my me and my cell phone are always protected plus the app notifies you of any breaches within your email address etc. The app also notifies you of any system upgrades or suggestions to better fit you and your cellular device. The app also offers many other excellent options for keeping you and your sensitive, personal info safe & out of the prying eyes of thieves/criminals. 💚

  5. 1/5Something rotten in Denmark…

I’ve had the app on my phone for years and opened it today after much time. I see a four month free promotion for their “total plan” and sign up for it through my account link. I provide my info and it asks me to create an account. I click on “login” and suddenly, my phone no longer remembers the password. I close and reopen the app and I’m still logged in on the app but to the basic plan and doesn’t upgrade. I go back to the website, click on “forgot my password”and I’m still waiting after my third attempt. They have my credit card number so I decide I’m going to cancel. Guess what…yeah, it’s like that. Now I will likely have to endure, what I’m sure will be a lengthy time consuming process to get rid of this thing and implement safeguards so they don’t charge me. If it sounds too good to be true…better the devil you know, I guess. TO THE DEVELOPER; please don’t contact me telling me how sorry you are that I’m having these issues or going through this difficult experience, and to just contact your support team and they’ll be more than happy to guide me through it, because I did, three times, THREE times, and I’m still waiting. These are simple issues that shouldn’t be issues, because it’s a Mobile Security app and you should know better. You should know better!
