1/5Never worked/No refund/Scam!
I purchased this awful company’s software suite a year ago and upon entering my information it kept saying I wasn’t who I am. I proceeded to cancel per their website instructions via their online form either the same day or next and cancelled. A year later they have not refunded me. I’ve been fighting this the entire time even taking this issue to my bank. Still nothing and when I send email after email, they claim it’s after the 30 day refund period? What??? It’s obviously a major and dangerous glitch on their site. Who knows what happened to my information??? Emails back to me are cold and they clearly do not read what I’m writing. It sounds like a bot answer each time. They outright REFUSE to refund what they owe me and for the record, I never was able to even download to any of my computers or devices. I paid for nothing. This is blatant theft. They are based in Romania. Be forewarned. Do not lose your money too! Scam!! Do NOT bother to respond here and ask me to email you for help! You have blocked my emails now! There are outlets where we can complain and report your pathetic company, just so you know.

5/5App reverting back to basic subscription
This has been happening quite often where I’ve reported the issue with technical support and it seems they don’t have an adequate response or even sending the concern to the appropriate department. Everytime I open the security app it displays as if I am trial user or basic user even though I subscribed as premium. I would have to constantly refresh app in order to revert back to my full access to the security services; such as web protection, Scam Alerts, etc. I’ve have tried every surmountable methods in troubleshooting towards this issue and I mean everything. Even customer support were on the line as I repeated there process and still it’s the same result. It behaves as if someone was intentionally attempting to piggyback on my account in order them to use the services or attempting to deactivate the security protocols in order to corrupt my iOS device.

5/5Strategic Defensive Infrastructure engineer offering advice for PC and Mobil implementation.
Since bitdefender secures ring 0 from threats of any kind, it has proven itself over and over again to block any hooks from any service or application or malware agent. I have tested other products just to find myself isolating then freezing and spreading these hooks. If you are not familiarity with the process I’m talking about my response is EXACTLY! I’m currently 1 in less than 5000 people in the USA that can perform this action. The other option is to tear down your entire pc then repurchase windows under a different email account. Trust me, the cost of this product far outweighs the cost of not having active ring 0 protection on any device. Just buy it. March 1st 2026 is the finalization date for the new internet standard for the USA. After this date, you are too late. Get this immediately and protect yourself from internet AI threats!

3/5Good VPN but constant WiFi issues
Bitdefender on PC works flawlessly for me, however, using it on iOS seems to be buggy. It’s nice to see it blocking ads in Apps that I never knew was reaching out to potentially malicious servers. The VPN also works well. My biggest issue is with the constant interference with WiFi connections. Sometimes WiFi would be working fine and then out of no where it stops resolving websites. The fix has always been to disable and then reenable WiFi. The problem is that there is no indication that WiFi is having issues until you try to open a web-based app or browse the web and notice it isn’t working. I honestly think the culprit is with the web protection feature in Bitdefender cutting off all web traffic inadvertently. I’ve been using the app with that feature disabled and haven’t had any issue in a few days now so I’m pretty convinced this was causing my issue. Hopefully this gets resolved in the near future as I really do like their security software overall, I just can’t recommend it to anyone in its current state.

5/5Support People are terrific, the VPN is basically useless
I have BitDefender anti virus on my computers and I thought the suite worked well so I added their VPN to all of my computers and phones and as soon as I did I had all kinds of problems. So many problems on our iPhone 11s that we deleted the mobile VPN almost immediately. As to the desktop VPN, I could not login to my bank or my cable company to pay my bill while the VPN was active, and BitDefender’s solution was to tell me to disable the VPN while I used those sites. My bank and my bill pay are two of the sites that I most certainly wanted protection while visiting, but evidently that is a common issue for them because they offered no solution. Further, the VPN continually disconnects, with no notice or prompting by me, several times a day. I would say over half of the times I click the icon to check my connection it is listed as disconnected. I then reconnect, then browse, then out of curiosity I check again a few hours later and I am disconnected again. I have contacted support several times and they are always super friendly, but when I call them I am not looking for a pal, I am looking for a resolution, and after 6-8 attempts when all they had me do was uninstall and reinstall each time, I realized I was just wasting time so I stopped calling. Obviously, thinking you are protected when you aren’t is probably worse than no protection at all. I am extremely disappointed with my experience and am planning to switch both Virus protection and VPN as soon as I am able.
