1. 4/5Football position expansion

   I think that there should be a Punt and Kick Returner position in football, and perhaps a punter too, my idea is however many net yards there is on a punt, punt yards-return yards should be .1 points. And then kick/ punt returners having .1 per yard and 15 for a touchdown because of how rare a TD on a punt or kick return is. Another position that is a bit less likely but may work is an O line, hear me out. Maybe a scoring system could be just however many rushing yards their team has, but there would also be minuses for sacks, negative yards, and penalties like holding, false start and ineligible receiver downfield. One last thing but this one is about a new league game, golf. There are many websites to do this with, but what I am thinking is instead of having occasional games for Streak or betting, you can have an actual league game, you draft 20 golfers, and each tournament the players you draft will play, and if some of your players don’t make the cut or withdraw from the tournament then you can pick some players with a budget of around 1000 coins or points or whatever and the better players have a higher cost. This might be hard but It would be cool to have, thanks.

2. 2/5Play Fantasy Elsewhere

   UPDATE: Was 1 Star. Now..... 3 stars?? Recent update changed the app so that instead of a one button drop down menu to toggle between all parts of the app (roster, matchup, other teams, players, etc....very cumbersome) they added a button board across the top of the app for all of that. Roster, matchup, players, and then league. League shows all transaction activity, other rosters, standings, etc. More Yahoo-like. Also like that at the bottom of the “MatchUp” page is a tab to see all the scores of all live games (Another Yahoo feature). Fairly minor changes but a major improvement imo. Definitely a start. Still needs a “compare players” spot and it would be nice to see full stats, last season and last month stats and ratios on one screen, as well as the player’s upcoming schedule. But Thanks for listening ESPN 😉 ORIGINAL REVIEW: 1 Star. With all the different venues and apps out there for fantasy sports, I’m very surprised that ESPN, a company built solely around sports, would put out an app like this. It’s very user UNFRIENDLY. Not smooth to use, not smooth to bounce back and forth between different sections of the app. Certain stats can’t be seen when you click a FA player, especially for pitchers. Still can’t figure out where to compare player stats. Any news updates about players needs to be searched for instead of just being presented at the top of ur lineup like it should be. Please ESPN, shut the app down, download yahoo fantasy, explore it and then go replicate it 😣

3. 2/5Doesn’t compare to other fantasy apps

   I usually don’t give reviews but I have too many complaints about this app not to give my opinion. Now, I’ve been using this app since I’ve started playing fantasy sports in about 2007 or so, and I must say, this is the worst app of all the fantasy apps in my opinion. I’ve don’t like the layout, the waiver wire player retrieval is horrible. Every time you pickup a player, it sends you back to your team and not back to the waiver wire to pick up more players. So, you have to go back and fourth, player after player, home screen, then back to the waiver wire. It’s so annoying to me, lol. I think that your developers should look at yahoo and DraftKings, and check out the way their app works. Yahoo is perfect to me.. I started on espn, and now yahoo has taken over. I also don’t like that I can’t make a league like I used to and have the option to and points for head coaches win and loss points as well. I thought that was pretty cool. So to really sum up, I play fbb & ffb on yahoo and espn. This season I only have 2 football teams, I usually have 5-8. I don’t mange any teams, and usually I manage 2 teams a season in football. Also, I decide I’m not playing fbb this season on the espn fantasy app. This is my first season without a basketball team after 10yrs.. basically, I’m fed up with the apps and if you guys don’t have a brand new app next season, I’ll be done with espn fantasy. I hope you have a new app roll out b4 next season, I would hate to leave u guys.. signed, a loyal player..

4. 1/5ESPN lags behind Yahoo

   ESPN’s appeal is falling behind competitors in its Fantasy Football site. One of the changes that has been made that made it difficult to manage my league was the transaction tab for the past season. It no longer allowed an individual to determine what players were kept, dropped or traded. This feature was very useful when we would determine eligible keepers for our league. The online help was ineffective at resolving the issue and when we stated that we may have to change sites because of this, they simply thanked us for choosing ESPN and then disconnected. The other issue I have is that I am only allowed to choose an icon for my team from a lame list of logos that ESPN seems to want to push on me. The other option given is to use their custom icon button which requires pasting a website link to the image. So far I have not found one that will work and when I try a new symbol I’m greeted with a cartoon character of a thumbs down Matthew Berry. Very annoying. Overall I feel Yahoo does a better job with the appearance, and features like a review of your draft and weekly games. I will say that I truly do enjoy the analysts for ESPN. The entire crew headed up by Matthew Berry are the best in the industry and are really the only thing keeping ESPN in business. I have been a member of ESPN for more than 12 years and unfortunately they have been surpassed by other Fantasy Football sites. I don’t believe my league will be returning next season unless some changes are made.

5. 3/5It used to be my favorite platform

   ESPN fantasy is really one of the best platforms available but it has plenty of flaws. 1) the app has only had minor changes done since I began playing fantasy 11 years ago. The big one as of late is the new draft board. The draft board that does not even allow you to click on player profiles to read more about the guy you just drafted. 2) simple things like age, height, weight have never once been a part of the player profiles. This is information that would help visualize a player you’re unfamiliar with. 3) They post specific video content about players which is great, but they only come up on the screen if you own said player or go through and click on every player. There should be a tab on the home page that has the collection of all of the couple-minute videos on players. Otherwise how can o view this content pre draft unless I draft a number of free teams? Most of which I stop caring about by week 2. 4) severely lacking in different formats (dynasty not being an option is wildly suprising) that aren’t standard or ppr. The world of fantasy is changing fast and espn is getting left behind fast by the sleeper app. And I get it. ESPN is making boatloads of money. Why should they care? But cmon be the best app available.
