1/5Doesn’t Work for Me
I made a reservation from a restaurant’s website that used Eat and it worked fine, but then I needed to edit my reservation. I tried to get the Eat app on my iPhone 16 using a link I was sent in the reservation confirmation text, but it wouldn’t download. I deleted the app and tried to download it again. It never worked. I searched it up in the Apple Store, but no luck. 🫤

2/5Annoying to set up, goofy once I got it running
Initial setup is annoying because the phone number supplied by the user must start with 1 in the USA. How about making that a default entry or telling the user? I cannot set up local restaurants because I can’t find a setting for my location. I keep getting restaurants 500 miles away in my “area”. I let them geolocate me and that still didn’t work. I have a confirmed reservation that shows up in the Eat app but when I enter the exact same restaurant in “search” it says “not found”. Wonky, goofy app!

This app and website are a scam. I made a reservation for an exclusive restaurant and found out once in there they only use open table and had no reservation for my wife and I. When I showed them the reservation they took pitty and made a spot for us. Don’t use this app. It’s a Scam to harvest your data and it’s not legit and had no actual clients.

1/5App doesn’t work
I’ve deleted and downloaded the app twice. I’ve restarted my phone. I’m up to date. Every time I open the app I see the “eat” logo and a spinning wheel. Nothing ever comes up. I’m trying to reschedule a reservation via the web but it keeps redirecting me to the App Store. Very frustrating.
