   First time user. Went through ordering process. When it came to entering cc as method of payment, the system just re-cycled to the ordering process. On my 3rd attempt I received a message that my order was accepted, it was in-process and delivery time was approximately 50 minutes. I hope to receive a pizza In the next 50 minutes. I have no idea if I am “signed up” into your program for ordering and other benefits. When things go south in these sign-up processes just at the time cc information is vulnerable to being captured by the “bad guys” it doesn’t take long to lose confidence in your system. I also intended to order additional items. Again the system did not allow me to return to an ordering menu. This system, like many others, is probably great when all is working well. The problem is reliability and trust.

2. 1/5New app is The worst

   The old app worked perfectly fine. I used to order 1-2x weekly from this. The new app is the worst upgrade I have ever seen. The old app saved my previous orders and my payment and I could order in seconds. The new app does none of this. You have to re-navigate the app every single time. Half the time the login doesn’t work. The app just spins. Then I have to go to the website and do it. It also doesn’t sync with Apple in either the app or the website to pull in my credit card information automatically. So, if I want to order and it doesn’t save my card info and it won’t pull it in from my Apple saved items, I have to get out my credit card I have often not ordered from here simply because it was too annoying to have to work through these steps - make an entire new order, get out my credit cards and enter in my payment information every time , if the app doesn’t work then I have to go to the website ….EVERY TIME!!! and if I have to do that every time I could just order a gourmet pizza from a different venue through Postmates GrubHub etc. the new app has literally lost half my normal orders due to the headache

3. 1/5App doesn’t work

   This app hasn’t worked on my iPad for at least 6 months. The latest issue is that the checkout doesn’t load. That’s assuming you manage to get signed in and have your store’s menu load in the first place. The most success I’ve had lately is getting my order entered in but the checkout screen doesn’t actually load fully, making it impossible to complete the transaction—one can’t even reach the screen where you schedule the delivery time and enter payment info/tip because those things do not load. It is similar if one tries to use the website via Safari on iPad. The last update that claims to fix errors on the iPad version is a dang dirty lie. The error with the checkout was present in the last version and is still present in the latest version. Get whoever was doing the app coding 6 months ago back because the current team isn’t worth the money you’re paying them. It’s 2023. Mobile devices are ubiquitous. Donatos corporate should be embarrassed at the state of this app.

   This app is seriously broken. I add a pizza, then I go to add a “pizza pal” and I select what I want, then it makes me add a pizza, even though I already have a pizza in my cart. I think fine, i will just remove the pizza in my cart I already put in. I go to remove the excess pizza, But I see it auto added 2 pizza pals for some reason. Then you cannot remove anything or change anything in your cart attached to the pizza pal. If you try to update the order it only adds more pizza pals. You cannot force close the app and reopen to have an empty cart, the items are still there and they still can’t be removed. I had to delete this app twice and reinstall twice because of the auto add of additional unordered pizza pals and once it is in your cart you cant do anything to clear it, so you have to delete and reinstall the app. Every time it auto adds 2 pizza pals, and the cart can’t be adjusted, only added to. What a hassle, could not add a single pizza pal, frustrating. Spent around 25 minutes to order 1 pizza.

5. 1/5Is anybody at Donatos corporate testing the app?

   Pizza and food is always excellent… keep it up there! But the app… oh boy 😖. Amazed how you upgraded an app that was easy to use, had no issues, saved orders, info, etc, and managed to turn it into the complete opposite. If it actually works in the first place (constantly times out, never opens), then it takes forever to simply log in and get into the menu to even place an order. Discounts appear and disappear from the cart, points never accurate, orders cancel out, orders don’t make it through, and no card information is ever stored. It’s like having to go through a lengthy enrollment each time, only to run into more errors. If I can’t login and place an order in 2 minutes, then something is seriously wrong with the app. Please call up Five Guys and get some tips/help from their AppDev team. Unbelievable how many companies completely screw this stuff up. I don’t want “brand and social interaction” with your company… I want to order a good pizza. Keep it simple.
