  1. 5/5Let your faith grow. I dare you.

A mustard seed. When the chaos in your life grows so loud…..SOOOOOOOOO LOUD, that a tiny whisper, a silent plea for help is offered. This is the sacrifice your Lord yearns for. When you’ve been beaten time and time again and it finally hits you…”I can’t fight this fight alone”. THAT. IS. WHEN. THE. ALMIGHTY. ENTERS. THE. RING. My Brothers and Sisters, it’s that silent whisper that rings loudest. That silent whisper lights the fire of GOD within. That silent whisper lets your Abba tend to the seed. That silent whisper lets your Heavenly Father become your mentor and HE shows you all of the Gifts he Gifted you. I BEG YOU. Pray these Prayers. Just read them in a private setting. I promise you, your Heavenly Father with Pray with you and before long, you will learn to say EACH word within, with such passion and conviction that tears will run down your cheek. Our Daddy will show each of us the beautiful gift of Love that is the source of the light that is God. My Friends, there is such great power in weakness; for when your Christ dwells within, you are Gifted the greatest POWER in the Universe. The power of THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END. let your father give YOU rest. Unburden yourselves. Salvation is but a prayer away.

  2. 5/5I never write reviews…

This team is accomplishing God’s will: the Liturgy of the Hours, the prayer of the Church, made available to everyone. It doesn’t matter if you can’t afford the four volume set; it doesn’t matter if no one has taught you how to navigate the ribbons and the page flipping and the liturgical calendar: if you have access to a computer or a smartphone, you can pray with the Church. Vatican II asked for this: we want everyone possible to be praying the Liturgy of the Hours. Before, money and education were insurmountable barriers for the laity to be able to do this, but this team has made this not only possible, but incredibly accessible and simple, as the liturgy should be. And all for no charge. I’m a poor college student with a pregnant, stay-at-home wife and a toddler with cancer: I can’t afford hardly anything right now. But as soon as I finish school and find employment, I’m making donations to this team. The liturgy of the Church needs to be this accessible always and for everyone. I pray their work never stops.

  3. 5/5Great resource with family and children!

I have found it helpful as a beginner to utilize this app for guidance. It makes praying straightforward as we learn the way to pray the hours. It also helps us focus as a family with small children as sometimes they can get fussy or jittery and it helps to have the audio continue to guide us audibly so we are not constantly trying to find our place again. The children especially enjoy the sung hymns and the bells. It helps us all prepare ourselves and helps our home feel like we have brought the church wherever we are. It is also helpful to be able to read/pray when we are not at home. However, for us it has helped giving a dedicated time and space to pray and not stacking it with another task. For example, on a long drive home while our toddler is sleeping and we are dedicating that time to pray during our travels after dr appointments or other mandatory duties with a family, never if we don’t have enough time and would have to rush through it or if there are other things our vocation as parents is demanding of us at the time crying toddler, snack time, lunch while eating etc. this has helped us hold the prayers with more reverence and model sit for our children. Overall great resource in our current season!

  4. 5/5Great tool

I'm very grateful for this app. It is my first intro into the liturgy of the hours which can be daunting for someone on their own. I'm glad something so simple is available to a beginner. The physical book is quite the investment so I looked to something online. I like that this is an app rather than a website. I found it easier to use than ibreviary and appreciate its features. The audio recordings are especially helpful so I know what exactly to pray. I also feel more involved in a community when I can pray along with multiple people. A similar touch I like is the location map. I appreciate the download option, adjustable reminders, as well. The only suggestions I have are to make the audio player more user friendly- it's quite small and cannot be adjusted by moving a finger along it. Additionally, I like that the subs can be sped up but I wish it were adjusted by a wheel or menu that included options to speed it up by small intervals so that anything between 1-2 (such as lower than 1.3) could be chosen. I highly recommend this app for praying the liturgy of the hours!

  5. 5/5Thank you —5+ stars

I have really been enjoying using this app lately, though I’ve had it for a while. It’s nice to hook it up to my Bluetooth and pray the prayers while driving. I echo the voice of others who say that the speech is too slow. When I set it to 1.3 or 1.6 it sounds more natural. I think this is important because folks will have more success praying regularly if the pace is more natural. When it comes to the reading of Scripture, the leaders increase the speed, such that 1.3 is almost too fast. I appreciate the different English accents–gives a nice ecumenical sense. Also, the singing is usually quite impressive (especially the Te Deum). Since the Church asks for more Latin in the liturgy, it would be good to bring in some ancient Latin hymns as well, e.g., occasionally the Te Deum in Latin, Salve Regina, etc. (For those learning how to pray in community or to proclaim the Scriptures, do not follow the example of the couple of leaders on this app who read in such a theatrical way. See how distracting it can be?) Great job overall and thank you all for your fine service to the faithful.
