1. 4/5Fun but be careful

   I’ve been DealDash-ing for about 8 months now. At first, I got frustrated and stopped using it. I couldn’t win anything. But then after reading up on it, I decided to give it another shot. At first, I only tried to win lower priced items for the sole purpose of exchanging the item for bids. This helped me build up my cache of bids without buying them (note: you do have to buy a bid pack to get started). Also if you log in each day and bid once, they reward you with free bids. Over time I’ve built up my bids and also some bid experience. Bottom line: know when to quit! You can’t win every auction you bid on so just accept it and move on before you waste hundreds of bids against some professional all day bidder who has no life outside of DealDash. And yes, you will eventually be able to tell who those people are: their names show up frequently, their join dates are from like 2012, so steer clear of auctions with those people. There are better times of the day to win auctions so just pay attention and study the win list and you can win some neat stuff. I’ve been able to win comforters, sheet sets, jewelry (which I normally exchange for bids), a nice knife set, decorative wire baskets, a few small gift cards, several purses and I lucked up one time and won a queen size inflatable air mattress that I really needed! That was a fluke but sometimes you are in the right place at the right time and boom, you win something really awesome. So proceed with caution, do your homework, exchange some items you win for bids, and know when to stop! Oh and use the Bid Buddy feature! It saves you bids and time. Good luck and happy bidding!

2. 3/5Constant app issues

   I’ve won some great stuff on DealDash for fantastic prices- and I’ve lost a lot of bids in the process- all part of the chance you take. That being said the increasing issues of app errors is maddening. I emailed to let them know when my notification sounds stopped Working- and they were responsive with concern, I sent several videos etc documenting the issue- now app errors are increasing in number and frequency and they have gone radio silent : still no notification sounds, my ‘back ⏪’ and ‘bid’ buttons will disappear off the interface intermittently in the middle of an auction, I have had the app double bid for me recently using bid buddy as I watched it happen, and if I’m in one auction and visit another starting, I cannot see the number of prebooked bidders unless I force restart EACH time! I guess they make enough money that a few complaints don’t seem to bother them- but I can’t be the only one having this issue it’s clearly an app issue. It’s concerning the way they’ve dropped the ball on communication. To top it off, they banned my non verbal, handicapped mom because she was bidding from the same home as me. She has a caretaker most days and of course we are in the same home - but I’m not with her 24/7 - even after I assured them we would not bid on same items and have different time blocks we would be on. YET I watch bidders with IDENTICAL screen names (or close) bidding on the same auction again AND AGAIN- reporting it hasn’t stopped them, they’re back the next day.

3. 5/5A lot of Fun--with great Deals!

   I have been an active user for a while now, Deal Dash is a lot of fun and a little addictive. I have won more than 350 auctions, many of which are worth more than $1,000. When you win the deals are unbelievable, when you lose it can be a little frustrating. Know what the site actually is before you sign up. Deal Dash is a penny auction site which increases the price of the auctioned item by 1 cent for every bid that is placed. The price of the bids generally fluctuated between 11 and 15 cent per bid. This next part needs to be understood clearly, YOU HAVE TO WIN THE ITEM TO GET THE AMAZING PRICE! and the way you win the item is to be the last bidder to place a bid. I have seen many people complain about the site because they thought you just buy items for amazing prices--not the case. Deal Dash is a retail sales company but offers amazing prices for those that win their auctions. Simple as that. Deal Dash is fun, challenging, and very exciting when you win. Give it a little time to develop your skills and before you know it you'll be right up there with the best of the bidders. Best of luck and maybe we'll go head-to-head one day!    DOWNLOAD COPY and PASTE this person's comment. This type of business practice should be ILLEGAL and punishable. DECEPTIVE business Practice should be PUNISHABLE. After seeing an ad, I played along and bought bids. Understanding how these gimmicks work, I used those bids to run some diagnostics to confirm what I already knew. The past winners are mostly the same "people" (bots). They seem to have unlimited money and could care less what they spend on buying a product because they only exist to save the product from being a loss. They site says they are "audited", but you cannot view the audit results and have no way to legitimize them as an actual audit. Every once in a while they give a squirrel a nut to actual people to use them as their "keep the fires burning" proof of winners. If you don't make a bid within the first $5.00 you are locked out. So expect the bots to bid early once to reserve the ability to run up the bidding later. If this app truly has the number of people using this app as it shows they do, the "winners" pool would be bigger. The winners that are always winning are spending money per bid with many bids, plus winning the bids. They would have to be extremely wealthy and stupid with their money. That's not a likely combination. I spent money to investigate before investing in this gimmick. After all, being SMART with your money makes you achieve wealth. Save yourself and play a game, you won't come out ahead.

5. 3/5This is a money trap

   You can spend hundreds of dollars buying bids and then not win a single thing and wasting all of that $$$ so be careful. So strange to me how an item will sell at the previous auction for less than a dollar, but at the next auction when I participate the same item will go soooo much higher. Just know you have to buy bids to participate in the auction, so basically you pay a fee every time you bid ( so far for me bids have ranged from 12 to 14 cents). Then if you are lucky enough to VERY OCCASIONALLY win you still have to pay for the item separately. Some days items are discounted so if the winning bid is $5 you only have to pay a portion of that. You can also bid on bids. Be smart on that. I have seen people use over 200 bids just to win 100. WHO DOES THAT? Another huge issue I have is this app. Mine freezes up A LOT and I’ll be in the middle of an auction and it freezes and when I finally get the app closed and reopened the auction has finished because I could not bid. That is so frustrating, especially when it is down to me and one other bidder. Just be careful with this and I definitely suggest reading the item reviews before bidding as well as any bidding stipulations.
