   Daraz is a convenient and reliable online shopping app with a wide variety of products at competitive prices. The user interface is simple and easy to navigate, and frequent discounts, vouchers, and flash sales make shopping more affordable. Delivery service is generally good, and multiple payment options are available. However, there are some downsides. Product quality can sometimes be inconsistent depending on the seller, so buyers need to check reviews carefully. Delivery may be delayed occasionally, and customer service response time can be slow in some cases. Overall, Daraz is a great platform for online shopping, especially for deals and variety. With better quality control and faster support, it could be even better.

   From daraz you are able to buy anything from anywhere, i do admit that it has a lot of products and a lot of variety. However, the app itself is a mess. It’s way too overwhelming, there are pop ups everywhere, blinding you from actually seeing the screen so you misclick something which takes you to another screen with more pop ups; it is way too much. it is also extremely laggy and slow + confusing!!!! you never know whether a product is in stock or not, if your order is indeed confirmed OR if your order is cancelled. For an app in 2025, it is decades behind, get a grip. Additionally, i had ordered ONE earphone off of daraz but the sent me 2… whatever it’s fine, mishaps happen but it is how the daraz delivery guy handled it. He claimed that i needed to return one of the earphones through the app and pay him the price for TWO EARPHONES EVEN THOUGH I HADNT BOUGHT TWO; he wouldn’t budge. After showing him and explaining to him that i had ordered ONE and that it was a mistake on their end, he reluctantly gave me both earphones and i paid for the price of one. Do better!

3. 1/5Things that are worst about this app

   They added a new headache called Maximum Limit of same items, it literally restricts me to purchase my favourite items more than once; then what am i supposed to buy? They also have error message in bkash payment. Daraz has become the worst app ever, such a waste of an useful app. for Choice section, they are supposed to give free delivery instead charging 180taka to 300taka inside Dhaka delivery, which is disappointing. they are showing 10-20taka off of 350taka delivery charge but charging this much for delivery is outrageous. I would rather buy from my local grocery stores. Their chatbot is useless as well, no real solution to problem just showing saved guidelines again n again. their on call customer service is unreachable, so it is not customer friendly app. Their vouchers are meaningless they charge upto 350taka for delivery charge. App has too many pop ups. They used to provide cardboard boxes for delivery, now it’s just poly wrapped, products are damaged most of the time. Refund takes too long.

4. 1/5Don’t even bother

   We were optimistic about this app when we downloaded it. One of my husband’s friends showed it to us as we keep making long trips to buy specific things. I am new to the country and still don’t know where anything is locally so I decided to give this app a try. Unfortunately, for two weeks my husband and I have been trying to buy different things without success. We had even gone to the point of calling customer care just to end up with no resolution for the problems. It’s either I am ordering too many different things or there is something wrong with the voucher. But even after decreasing the amount of things and/or removing the vouchers it would still not work. Then on the 2 times that it actually worked it picks the payment method for you and places the order without your consent. In conclusion, there are too many bugs with this app and it’s better to save yourself the headache. Might as well save the shipping fee and drive to Islamabad this weekend.

5. 3/5Refund Policy Unsatisfactory

   In my second last order (received 22nd of May, 2023), one of my products were missing, so I called Daraz right away, and the agent on the phone was very responsive and communicative which I appreciated. I was told that someone will call me within 24-48 hours to confirm the refund, and they did. They informed me I’ll surely be refunded. Then I got a notification that request is being processed, so I had faith and I went about my day. Few days later I checked my notifications and saw that on the same day they said it was being processed, the refund was rejected. Daraz needs to be more responsible and reliable. Finally they’re trying to process it again after I had to remind them. We are customers, we shouldn’t chase for the refunds, especially when it was a mistake on Daraz’s part in the first place.
