1. 5/5How would I live without it

   I love corner so much. I honestly think it’s incredible for planning events with friends. Everyone can have access to a shared album and put where they want to go in that shared album. If I had a boyfriend, I would totally have a shared album with him of restaurants. We wanted to go to just throughout daily life. Right now, my friends and I are planning a trip to Paris and we are putting all of our restaurants in Paris in a Paris album. It literally is making our lives so much easier. I also use this every day in New York, and I love it for that. But specifically when you are trying to do things with other people and make sure everyone is happy while not losing track of what’s going on, corner is literally perfect

2. 3/5full of promise • beautiful gowns

   Promising app and fun design, though currently feels more focused on aesthetics than usability. I would love to see better personal library management features (privacy, organization, and curation)—and stronger branding direction (seems geared towards anti-woke shallow consumerism). It would be actually cool to see the app spotlight meaningful stories that make places special and encourage community-building that keeps us in these offline third spaces (instead of mostly $$$$ exclusive places)—in the true spirit of critical curation and tastemaking. I would otherwise be completely obsessed and maintaining a weekly streak. Currently, Corner is a source for finding places while Google Maps is the main driver for making actually private lists, adding custom user tags, etc. I would love to eventually recommend Corner to everyone around me. [Privacy] Please fix the blocking and allow users to view their block list. I still get notifications and see lists recommended from blocked users. Also make saves in private lists hidden from our public profiles. [Organization] Add features to bulk edit saved places, search within lists, have more robust filtering and sorting options (by distance, recently added, price, hours, etc.), add custom tags, and pin lists. Basically the stuff Google Maps has and more. [Curation] Add features to hide places (not only from “places you’ll also like”), view list of hidden places, and add a note/tag of why to avoid (de-influencing, but without using the thumbs down rating that adds the place to your map).

   This is perhaps the best idea for an app ever. I had over 400 places saved in Apple Maps and after updating my phone, I lost everything. Ever since then, I’ve been looking for a new app that I can trust. Beli is okay, but there’s not really a visual aspect to it. That’s where Corner comes in. I’m SO glad I discovered this app. It’s everything: aesthetically appealing and fun, the map is interactive and genuinely helpful, and the social aspect is a great touch! Love that you can set cover photos for your guides and easily “vibe search” for things. There are glitches sometimes but this app is fairly new so I’m not mad at it. I’m sure they’ll work out the kinks over time

4. 5/5Form and function

   Great app that manages to be fun, clean, quirky but also very efficient. Nothing is tedious and adding new places just feels easy and simple. One thing that would make me never leave again: allow for import and exports of the places: I have 500+ bookmarks in Google maps (which I now find lousy) - the migration needs to be easy and fast - I don’t want to re-add everything manually ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

   ok listen up - downloading corner is the best thing you can do for yourself !!!!! I’m usually skeptical of new apps but I’ve used corner for OVER a year consistently and it brings soo much joy. the design, the social element + being able to see what my friends think of spots, and the fun of curating memories from my trips & home city… unmatched!! plus the app has been adding cool new features like vibe search & common spots w/ friends that I LOVE!
