5/5The Perfect Meal Planning App!
Ya’ll!! If you struggle with meal planning, juggling multiple cookbooks and millions of websites, getting your shopping lists made without forgetting a key ingredient for the week then THIS IS THE APP THAT WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING. I am not kidding!! I’ve been using the app for about a year and have recently decided to change my diet for health reasons. I already had a bunch of recipes that I had copied and made, but now I need to change the foods I eat. Solution? Archive the recipes I no longer plan to use and start searching for new ones! Once I have recipes for the week, I add them quickly and easily to the meal planner. Then I direct the app to make a shopping list for me. Next, I edit the shopping list, removing items I already have in my pantry. Then I shop for my ingredients and start cooking. Today, I realized that the meal I planned for dinner would be better for this weekend and needed to switch the weekend meal to tonight. Less than 5 clicks later my week’s plan was reorganized…no muss, no fuss. And to really make things easy, the app even synchs with my Apple calendar so my daily notifications remind me of what I am planning for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I can even add extra reminders in the meal planner section to remind me to thaw a pound of chicken two days before I plan to cook it. INCREDIBLE!! And do you know what is the icing on this incredibly delicious app? The developer is so quick to respond to questions or problems. If you’re on the fence, give it a try. You won’t regret it…especially because it’s free. But give it a week or two and you will want to purchase the one time upgrade so you can enjoy ALL of the bells and whistles FOREVER. What are you waiting for?! Seriously, get this app now!!

5/5These developers thought of everything!
UPDATE JUNE 2021 I’m so happy this app is back! This is by far the most complete recipe/shopping list/meal planner out there. Everything works flawlessly and most of the features can be used for free! I liked it so much I bought the lifetime membership years ago just to support the developer and I NEVER pay for apps. Thanks for your hard work to get it back on the App Store. Yaaay! I love this app! I downloaded it this afternoon and spent just a couple of hours to get most of my recipes into the app. Everything worked near-flawlessly. Easy to edit, add photos and you can even note which recipes you've made. I haven't used the menu planner yet but the grocery list seems to work pretty well, categorizing your grocery list by recipe so you'll know what items you're buying for which recipe. This might be a bit inefficient if you end up with several list items such as 1/2 cup chopped onions, but I haven't really played with that yet. So far, it's so much better than what I've been using, and I'm ecstatic. Thanks for a great app!

5/5Digging this App.
So far I am truly liking this app. I like being able to edit and do things my way. Now I’m still learning but so far this seems to be a good app. I’ll let you know if it changes for good or bad. But one thing I really want to comment on is the creators way of letting you find out whether you like the app or not without hammering you with ads and pushing you to buy with constant interruptions. In fact, I don’t think there’s been a single pop-up and I had to search to find their in purchase prices. I have many times deleted apps before I even could decide if they were any good or not because of the constant harassing ads. I’m more than happy to pay for a good app, heck they deserve to make money too, but I won’t be harassed and the app creators are the ones who lose when I toss one in the trash. No pressure here, and I went and paid for just that reason alone, I usually wait until I’ve used the app longer. But give this a chance, seems all around good to.

4/5Mostly in love
I have been using this app daily for over a year now and i love all its features and its very easy to understand how to get the most from copymethat. There is one thing i dislike and it will likely be the reason i eventually move to another program instead, and that is this problem in the shopping list... although i can add as many new categories as i want, i can NOT delete the default categories, nor change their names. The program will always list my shopping items under the default categories regardless. I would like my food list to be categorized under the store names i created, rather than the general tag of dairy, meat, spice etc. what is the point of being able to add categories if the program wont recognize them and list my items there? One feature i like the most is the red border of the page display itself and the large blocks of photo recipes listed in a grid. As a visually oriented person i find copymethat a pleasure for my eyes and finding inspiration for cooking is easy with the program. It runs exceptionally well on my ipad and even works in landscape mode.

5/5Would give 10 stars if I could!
I used Pepperplate for many years, but for some time the support staff had stopped responding. I looked for another option, and found Copy Me That. Wow, what a difference! It does all I want/need AND when I send questions or suggestions, the developer responds promptly, sometimes in less than an hour. That is amazing service. I never upgrade to paid apps - partly because I’m too cheap, and partly because usually I can find free versions. But within less than a week of using CMT, I paid for the lifetime premium membership, and it’s already been worth every dime. The scaling option is perfect, and the ability to save and reuse menus with all the recipes (especially my 20+ Thanksgiving recipes) is amazing. And I decided I want to support the app and future improvements in it! As others have noted, some small tweaks could be made (automatically picking up on total prep time or having a designated space for that, for example), but Tine is so responsive, I have no doubt improvements will continue.
