1. 5/5Best social media app in my life

   I haven’t used social media apps consistently much this year because I’ve honestly just become bored with them, but this app is different. Instead of feeling like your wasting time when you could be doing something more productive you’re actually gaining knowledge, making new friends, networking, and starting life changing relationships. Another plus is that you can meet people without the worry that they’re really just bots or dealing with the image obsessed culture of other social media apps that force you to post cumbersome videos & pictures that just brainwashes society into thinking that beauty is the most important defining trait of a human beings value. Rather than far better traits like knowledge, hard work, and actual social relationships. Apps like Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok don’t have real social relationships they have “follow relationships” and it’s wonderful to finally see an app that’s finally reversing the pathetic trends social media companies have introduced into how we think about real human interactions. The one recommendation I would give to the developers is to add a functioning search feature, the app only lets you see chat rooms it’s AI search ranking system thinks you’ll be interested in. Unfortunately in my case this AI tends to be wrong more often than not. Beside that thank you to the people who created this amazing app, in a year where people are more isolated than ever before this app is finally doing something to bring people together.

2. 4/5Bulk unfollow PLEASE

   OK so I've been here since a month after the App launched initially. Some of the people on this app are my closest and dearest friends them are coworkers, mentors, coaches, Family. But then again… There's also the thousands of people who I have met and enjoyed one or two conversations with, followed them, and then they deleted the app years ago. 5000 people add up quickly and I would love to be able to check for active members. While I hate to delete my friend Pip who I met the first week I was on the app, she hasn't been on the app for almost 5 years and we are connected on other social media as well as we can call each other all we want. It would be nice to be able to free up this space so I can follow and get to know new people who are active on the app. But instead of being able to easily filter for this I have to go through one by one every one of my friends and check to see who is active and who isn't and it's just a big time waste so I end up just not following new people (something I assume is common amongst people who've been here a while) So instead of asking us to go greet new people and join new clubs why don't you just help us to filter out some space so we can follow the specific new people that we do want to get to know not some random name you've just given us and told us to go wave at. It's a win-win for everyone. Plus think of all of the data space that it frees up on the back end. Why they haven't done that yet I have no idea. I am glad that they have now implemented to where you can see how many followers you have beyond just the people that you follow back

   I love this app because it allows you actually have a conversation with numerous people that you may have NEVER had the chance to talk to. But the one thing I that should change on this is maybe a space in the chat where the person who is talking make their picture bigger so that you can find their info, follow them on the app or on Instagram. Sometime I’m trying to figure out who is talking to connect with them but I have to scroll down to see who is talking instead of their profile picture popping up a little bigger (like zoom, I hate to compare. But I think it should show a bigger picture of the person talking but still have all the little pictures of people in the discussions. And maybe move the IG icon next to the follow button so that you can get back to the chat quick without having to scroll all the way down. Could you guys also a question chat so it is easier to the moderators can answers questions for the audience of course allowing the mediators to pick which questions they would like to answer. Again this app is great !!! I look forward to seeing this app flourish wish y’all the best.

4. 1/5Very clunky with voiceover as a blind user.

   When I was first introduced to this app, I found it to be workable with my screen reader. I was able to find rooms to get into and topics to join. However, since they introduced replays, and clubs, and people I might know on clubhouse, it has been an extremely cumbersome user experience for me. I find it near impossible to scroll through all of the recommendations and constantly get stuck on screens I have no desire to get stuck on, such as the aforementioned. I wish there was a way to filter out past replays, people I might know, clubs I'm not interested in in the slightest, and such overblown things. Furthermore, there is no better way than to scroll and hope one gets past all of the sludge in hopes of finding a room where I might talk. As it stands, I find the entire process far more vexing than helpful and have rarely used the app within the past year or so. Given the auditory nature of the app, it would seem to be well-suited to those of us who have no need for video communication. However, the frustration of the interface far outweighs the usefulness of the platform in general. I wish I could put up a better review, but I would rather be honest about my experience than lie and say the thing was great and that I spend all my waking hours on it. Alas, I cannot and what you have here is a review fraught with annoyance and disappointment. What seemed to be an enlightening experience has turned into a painful one.

5. 1/5Really Bad update for community…..

   I loved this app because of the ability to find and explore communities of anything you wanted as a musician that’s great. However yes there was a chance for improvement for them to focus the suggested rooms to topics that I am interested in (music and arts) rather than any room topic anyone I follow was in….. HOWEVER WITH THIS UPDATE ITS AWFUL THEY MADE IT SO BAD they took away the suggested feature of rooms your friends follow completely away!!!!!! And to make matters worse and more annoying when you are trying to look for rooms that are live now GOOD LUCK because they jumble up a bunch of rooms that ALREADY HAPPENED!!! mixed in randomly with live rooms so big FAILURE for user interface. There is NO ORGANIZATION OR WAY TO FILTER THAT STUFF OUT OR ONLY LOOK FOR LIVE ROOMS. The aesthetic is nicer but the functionality and usability of this app is horrible I deleted the app after years with it because of how off base and tiresome navigating this update was. Horrible experience I can’t say enough it’s frustrating, I want to see more rooms that I’d be interested in and instead you take away every single suggested room unless I explicitly follow it….. but how am I supposed to follow it if I don’t even know it exists!!!!!??? And why is it so hard to view and find ONLY the rooms that are LIVE I don’t want to see hundreds of rooms that already happened in the past that I missed…….. install a filter or way to get only LIVE ROOMS
