1. 5/5Godsend for busy working adults

   I have been on ADHD medicine since childhood and yet I still get the runaround from doctors thinking I am drug seeking. These doctors take the time to look into my medical history and prescription history to validate that I am in fact an honest person struggling with ADHD. I have a wonderful relationship with my primary dr through circle and he remembers me every appointment, showing that he is not just doing this for the money. When I forget to book out in advance I am able to choose from a variety of other providers in my state who are just as helpful and thorough. The only issue is that CVC won’t fill controlled prescriptions through circle med, at least they wouldn’t 6 months ago. Which is fine because everywhere else will. The only downside is when you need to message your doctor you often need to go through a “care team” and that can be a lengthy process . But once you develop a relationship with your primary, depending on the provider, they may message you to start communication directly between the 2 of you.

   I’m a busy working adult. Most are that’s why this appeals to us. That being said it was good in the beginning . 124 for the first video. Then you have to have an over all wellness exam that’s a separate cost, sure, then the third cost of the actual visit they prescribe a trial for you. Great subsequently I had an appointment a doctor canceled on and I was billed for it. Then another doctor followed up(had to pay for that interview / exam as well ) and gave me my first 30 day supply. Turns out no one carried that prescription in my immediate area. I got them to change the pharmacy that one ran out(no fault of Circle at this point) . So I give up and just keep up with daily life as usual. I follow up assuming since I never got the script filled have that same provider simply rewrite that prescription since it never got filled. They said I have to be evaluated again and be prescribed it all over again. I explained I just need it rewritten because it was never filled, they then brought in legal jargon about being under billable hours not about filling the prescription which was a service paid for by a customer. They refuse to re write it/ fill the script that I never received with out me paying for the services again. I’m glad others have had a great experience, just know that I have been charged about 500 dollars for 16 generic pills, of 5mg Ritalin and nothing more, at this point and it does not feel good. They will not help with out me paying another 124 minimum. Be aware. Good Luck

3. 1/5Horrendous app - these reviews must be fake

   absolutely horrendous customer service (long wait times, constantly being transferred from one agent to another without them briefing each other on the context of the chat, request tickets being auto closed before anyone reviews, etc etc.) as far as prescription refills - also horrendous. my provider failed to get the pre auth docs to my insurance in time 3x in a row so at this point i'm just considering going to another doctor because i can't wait any longer for my refill. as far as medical care, also horrible. i booked an appointment for a well visit and the provider was unprofessional and just sounded like he was reading a script of questions he didn't understand. i in no way feel like i'm actually getting any well rounded or even baseline medical care here. app experience -terrible. messaging feature is clunky and spread across two tabs (both of which are not user friendly). i'd avoid this app/service at all costs really. it's a microcosm of everything that's wrong with the medical industry, really. Update: the doctor also ordered the incorrect lab work codes for me (he requested a Pap smear - I am a cis male) so I likely will have to go get lab work done again to test for the correct codes due to their mistake. I told the circle provider & customer service 5x that the wrong codes were requested and they’d have to call quest to update to the correct codes to prevent me from having to go back for repeat bloodwork, but surprise surprise they didn’t answer in time! Unbelievable

4. 1/5Impersonal & profit-first. Ended up deleting my account

   Circle medical uses predatory billing practices along with a slew of AI tools. While the provider I met with was nice, it was clear she was just reading from an AI most of the time & my appointment felt like a waste of my time. The inclusion of AI was not presented to me prior to booking the appointment & was not present in their terms & services as far as I could find. Cancelling, missing & rescheduling appoints within 24 hours of the appointment comes with a $50 fee. This fee is hung over your head in notifications saying “It's time to join your appointment. Join now to avoid the $50 no show fee” this feels immensely predatory & really reminds the patient that they’re just there as a source of income for the provider. Very impersonal. When I originally booked the appointment, while it was made clear to me that this would be a telehealth visit, it was not clear to me that the provider I was seeing was not in the United States at all, meaning I was unable to be prescribed any medication. Overall just very unfriendly & profits over people experience that I cannot recommend. On top of this I was billed 88 dollars for a “Mental Health Assessment” which was just a general anxiety questionnaire that contributed nothing to my already underwhelming appointment. As well, they must have your card on file & will bill you automatically with no warning. Terrible experience on this app over all. Ended up deleting my account. Wish I had never made one in the first place.

5. 2/5Definitely going down hill

   I’ve been a Circle Medical user for years. I briefly moved to a state where online prescriptions weren’t accepted for ADHD treatment. When I moved back to Texas, I started using them again. It seems like a shell of what it used to be. I had an appointment this morning at 8:00 AM. I waited the entire 20 minutes on the call and the doctor never showed up. I figured someone would eventually reach out when they saw the session never started. Nope. In fact I tried to contact support, and as of 5:05 PM the same day (a whole business day), no one has read my support message yet. I work help desk in IT and I know it gets backed up, but to have a doctor No-Call/No-Show an appointment and receive radio silence when you reach out is not acceptable. I tried to reschedule with another doctor, but since I technically had an appointment that day, it blocked me from making any more. So now I’m sitting here 8 hours after my appointment and no one has reached out or even read my message yet. Nothing from support, nothing from the doctor. It’s especially bad that Circle Medical charges a late fee/missed appointment fee and notifies you beforehand to respect their time when they don’t return that service anymore. Sorry Circle, but I won’t be coming back.
