1. 5/5Great stay and amazing staff

   I was so tired I just couldn’t drive anymore. I went to the comfort inn and I immediately left after I got my money back. The rooms were nasty, and the girl that checked me I was high or drunk or something was wrong with her. She was rude and unprofessional. Her friend was hanging around drinking beer out of a cup. The smell was awful. She looked nasty as well. As did her husband or boyfriend. They were very loud and and didn’t seem to care the lady was trying to check me in which it seemed to be interrupting their party time. I left and gps to clarion. Much better! Ms Melissa was a great person and she needs a raise. She greeted me cheerfully, explained everything I needed to know. She placed me on a quiet floor so I could get some rest, offered to help me with my luggage, I took a hot shower and I was out like a light. Breakfast was great. Sausage,eggs,biscuits,oatmeal,waffles, cereal, juice, milk,and coffee. Also tangerines and apples were available as well. I’d give them a 10 instead of 5 if I could. Ms. Tonya was a gem at check out. I really enjoyed my stay here. I will be back. Clarion,you won me over. I travel a lot. I will be staying here from now on. Great job Ms. Melissa and Ms. Tonya. Also kudos to the housekeeping staff for taking pride in your job, because of your dedicated and hard work, I got a great nights sleep on clean sheets, and a hot shower with clean linen. Thank you clarion for making my stay a great stay!!!!!

2. 3/5Decent app but lacking versatility

   Choice is a great place to stay- and for those of us with longer work stays of 6+ months or so, Choice becomes a home. The app makes booking easy- though a little janky when paying with points, as most hotels are independently handled and have zero ability to check your points or book stays so the app is crucial- when it wants to work properly. Additionally, in longer term stay hotels like Suburban Suites, users should be able to extend their stay AND pay in the app- because there’s nothing worse than getting late from work and having to extend your stay by a day or two and the office is closed- requiring you to be up bright and early to go to the office as soon as they open to extend the stay before housekeeping comes at checkout time (which can be unusually early depending on the hotel) to clear you out. An actual Calendar view for the Your Stay feature would also be nice- showing how long you booked your stay in gray and how many nights you have paid for in green- because for longer stays you block out the room but can pay by day, week, month, or as many days at once as you wish. The Choice Priveleges points program for earning rewards by ordering out should also be available, and offer ordering, direct through Choice app (even if it has to take you to an external app like DoorDash) rather than logging on via browser, which can be an easy or impossible task depending on cellphone type, computer, or even Wi-Fi/cell service speed.

3. 5/5Wonderful Place to Stay

   My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the Comfort Suites Albuquerque Airport. What a pleasant stay we had. We were greeted upon arrival by a lady whose name, unfortunately, I do not remember. She was very polite, friendly, and efficient. Then we went up to our room and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and modern. Everything was literally spotless! The room was very large with a very nice sitting area with a refrigerator and microwave. For the next three mornings we went down to breakfast and was greeted with a lovely smile from Jordan every single morning. He was very polite and friendly and was always busy. The breakfast was delicious! There was always eggs and sausage and sometimes an egg omelette with cheese which works really well with the bagels. I made a nice bagel sandwich every morning. Coffee was piping hot and strong. Just what we need in the morning. Housekeeping went in our room every day and made the bed and took out the trash and left us clean towels. This is one of the few hotels we have been to that still do that post Covid. My husband and I would definitely stay in this hotel again and we definitely recommend it to anyone reading this review. If you are uncertain as to whether or not to book, just book it! You won’t be sorry. Thank you to the management and team of Comfort suites in Albuquerque for a delightful stay. Will be back!

4. 5/5Green energy program Choice Hotels - amazing !

   We have been Choice Hotel members since 1999, and we’re very happy to learn about the major steps this large company is taking to promote green operations. We just stayed at the Lehigh Valley Comfort Inn in Allentown PA, and I was impressed that they were not using individual plastic cereal bowls and individual milk containers but had the large refillable containers of cereal and pitchers of milk. They were using paper bowls, plates and cups. They recycle their room keys. In speaking with the person at the desk and commending the hotel on their approach, she offered to show me the disposable shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap containers that have been installed in their first floor rooms. I saw them and really hope all hotels will go in this direction to help eliminate the millions of tiny bottles that end up in the trash. This hotel will be working their way through the building to make this change in all of their rooms. Of course many other Choice Hotels are not operating as this one does but it appears that they are all being encouraged to strive to meet these high standards. Wonderful to see this and what a positive message these environmentally friendly practices send to the customers. On another note, my family and I appreciate the fact that many Choice Hotels allow dogs and for us and many others, this is so important as we travel with our pets. We just traveled 5300 miles over 7 weeks with our dog and stayed in many Choice Hotels. Thank you!! Congratulations on your move to “green” hotels!

5. 5/5Not pleased! Comfort inn Independence Ohio.

   To start off our room 118 was not clean there was small confetti size paper on the floor and a pair of childrens socks under the Desk chair and plastic cup rappers sticking out from under the bed, the TV stand was dirty with cup rings looked like it wasn’t wiped off since the last customer. Im glad I brought a can of lysol from home because it was well used I sprayed everything from light switches to everything that we needed to touch. I told the clerk when we checked in that I was immune depressant and needed a clean room she said the room was clean & sanitized. I also told the lady when I made the reservation 4 days before our Check -in date. Top it all off I woke up itching and found little bugs in the bed. When we checked out I showed the clerk a photo of the bugs and she said she would take $20. Off my bill not that really helped with the discomfort I went through for the night and not being able to sleep and having itching red bumps on my neck and back I itched all day even after showering. after I got home I noticed on my online statement there was no credit. The aggravation of leaving our suitcases outside of our house and having to wash everything before I could bring it in the house. I have stayed at the motel many time through out the last few years this is the first time I have been this disappointed. I thought this motel was updated if so they aren’t keeping it up the carpets are really faded and dirty. I need to visit Cleveland Clinic again soon but I will be looking for a cleaner motel.

   It would be great if I could actually login to the app. It is absolutely worthless and all I get is the Spinning Wheel of Eternal Torment mocking me as I sit here looking stupid. I'll just go to a competitor's app since they all work just fine. Perhaps they know how to hire people who actually know how to write code?

   I have the app but I'm not sure what to do with it? I have posted the information in the app that I have had issues with while using this app. I also gave a review 2 months ago to the company corporate office number and I was told I was talking to the president of the rewards program and personal. I'm assuming that I was not told the full truth about the situation and nothing has changed in the area I have committed to. it's a reasonable amount for a long term stay and the only one in town.
