  1. 5/5Robot pronunciation

I absolutely adore this app being able to write gives me a good dopamine boost! I enjoy how it’s all set up the only constructive criticism that I have is that if there’s any possible way, you can program it to where you can get somebody who is more of a native speaker to pronounce the pinyin. Because the robot guy just sounds too monotone and he’s not even really pronouncing the tones themselves. And I know how important that is. I do love this app very much. That’s the only thing I’d have to say needs work. I hope the creator of this app is having a wonderful day! I do appreciate all of your hard work that you put into this app. ❤️

  2. 2/5Missing important functions

Functionally pretty great, and I love the dictionary and books. But there’s a lot of ads, it doesn’t support the system dark mode at all (or maybe it just has bad design?? In any case, things look weird and are hard to see), and there’s no option for Yale or Juytping, or any kind of Cantonese romanization at all. There’s also no “back” option for a lot of functions, and the paywall is very annoying.

  3. 4/5I love the app. Would love a few more features fine tuning

In calligraphy mode, it defaults to Mi grid,I have to manually select to change back to tian each time when creating a new sheet. I like that there are 3 different modes. But would be even better if there is a mix mode. Like a normal, mode 1, then 2 within the same practice line. Makes sense to be able to practice this way, with a sample character or copy, then practice on a trace, then write on a blank grid. Also need to be able to dictate a new line when entering the text. Now if I want a second set of word on the next line, I have to manually count the number of blank squares and enter the same number of times, before keying in the next set of new characters that will be used on the same worksheet. Also be nice in practice mode if we are able to use a different color for the character. Some studies show that there’s better retention and memory recall when the words are in red and not in black

我是学生中文。 我喜欢学和写汉字。 非常好。 I applaud the efforts of this author. It is in keeping with the theme of international harmony and constructive cultural exchange proposed by Chairman Xi. 我爱你中国。 This an excellent application for English speakers trying to learn Mandarin. It’s worth it’s weight in gold. The definitions are quite useful, better than Google translate. Chairman Xi should reward this program author as they have done a superior job. It makes learning so much fun. In addition I live the advertising which I find very interesting. The author should become wealthy. May God Bless you for your hard work!
